Rebecca arrived

Day 8

A visitor arrived late at night and it was Rebecca, Nina's sister. She came because Nina asked her to. She chose a wrong night to arrive. It was raining cat and dog with storm and lightening keeping everyone awake. Azur was barking furiously too at the intruder causing Isabel to tell Abigail to remove him to a dry place. Outside, Abigail saw the shadow that was making Azur to bark crazily so she called out and the person came forth saying she was looking for Isabel. She came in drenched and dripping water all over the floor. She was a sight to behold that Isabel did not want her to stay. She pleaded to be allowed to stay that night because of the rains. Isabel did not support her staying but Pedro allowed it at least for that night.
The next morning, Aunt Rebecca was up and about. She went to to see Valeria and told her she would take care of her. At breakfast, after explaining her mission, Pedro allowed her to stay and care for Valeria. She was so excited and fascinated by the 'Palace'. She wanted to join Vicky and the others to clean and scrub but they would not hear of it because she was an Aunt to the mistress of the house.
Angela came to apologise but Pedro insisted on her leaving for Europe because she disappointed him just like Antonio did. Angela then decided to go back to Europe. She informed Isabel of her proposed return trip to Europe. Isabel was happy that her rival for Andre's love was leaving. Angela then went to talk to the servants. She talked to Abigail and even confessed that she and Antonio are the only ones that would miss her.
Simon was at the pool with some friends. Walter wanted to stop him but Pedro stopped him. Antonio full of remorse came to talk with Pedro but he refused listening and at that time, Andre came to see Pedro. Pedro told Andre to forget Angela as she would only cause complication for him. How true! The heat from Isabel's jealousy is almost consuming Andre so steady relationship or marriage will kill him instantly.
Simon was watching some hot girls on the television and when he retorted that he could have worse stroke than Pedro if any of those girls in the telly looks his way made Abigail to turn off the television set.
On his way out, Andre told Isabel, his accomplice that they are doing fine meaning the old man is dying slowly and surely. He tried stopping Angela but she rebuffed him. Isabel that stood at a corner to watch was happy.
Gateyana Cherry came to visit but still to unravel the mystery or the image in Pedro's mind. At that time, Salvador Cirenza and his family were on the way to the market. Lillie and Nurse Fatima came to the market and Salvador helped to carry their foodstuff to the car.
Isabel was talking to her lover, Andre, on the phone accusing him of falling in love with Angela because he suspected that she forced Angela to leave. Angela overheard her confessing her love to Andre. While rushing out to talk to Andre about this piece of news, she met Antonio who was worried about her departure. But she told him she has cancelled the trip. She went to talk to Andre, the wrong person, about Isabel infidelity.
Pedro was playing the piano and Rebecca confessed to Valeria that Pedro was too old for Isabel. She went further to say Isabel did not marry for love but for money. She was being truthful.
Angela told Andre Isabel has a lover and she heard her talking to him on the phone. Andre was shocked and Angela mistook this reaction for unbelief. Andre said that he believed her and asked her to be careful. She hugged him and Simon saw it and told his family. Back home, Isabel came to talk to Angela on how she would want them to relate like friends now that she was leaving but Angela announced that she was not leaving anymore.
Andre then called Isabel to warn that they were in danger.
