The Bible
Different texts often have different definitions of same term. Very many times the definitions might be close enough to give exactly same meaning, but at times there might be significant differences; probably due to different convictions of the writers or a new revelation.
In the midst of the ever changing world and in the sea of different convictions; a book stands out with definitions and descriptions that never changes. What it says you are, is what you are. You can never get a better description of your self else where. This book is called The Holy Bible.
When a book as accurate as the Holy Bible, says an individual is profane, its worth the while to find out why the book says so.
In the book of the beginning, Genesis, chapter 25 verse 29 to 34: Jacob engaged Esau in a life changing negotiation. One party with a clear understanding of what he wanted out of life and the other completely void of understanding of life and what he wanted to make out of it. The terms and conditions of the deal were clear and simple. Jacob placed an incredible price on a plate of food and a man who was a servant of his stomach was ready to trade his right in life for it. Esau was indeed a profane person.
Some choices may not be as exactly as clear as Esau’s, nevertheless they determine our worth and where we are heading to.
If the holy book is to x-ray you today what will it say about you and your choices?
The Holy Bible is our standard, a regulator. It guides us. So that when we eventually breast the tape of life we will not be ashamed to meet Him in glory.
Make use of the Bible while you are at this side of life it will no longer be useful at the other side nevertheless it determines the name of your other side; heaven or hell. Chose heaven
