Fr Cristobal & Natalia in detention

Actually when Cristobal sees the photographs, he says this isn’t any kind of proof. Anybody could put something like this together. True, says the policeman. But there are also these photos. They show you two being awfully affectionate. Natalia flips through them and when they look, they were stunned.

Rufina that came back before the whole drama and was there during the arrest, takes a cup of tea to Carlota who is happily draped on a fainting couch happy with the turn of event. Rufina hears just at the door when Carlota says 'You fell right into my trap'. This is referring to Fr. Cristobal. Afterwards she switches to thinking and mumbling. Thank you Alfonso, for trying to kill me. Then aloud she says 'You’ll end up being mine in the end.
Rufina backs away from the door and does her own thinking: Help Cristobal. Macarena, wherever you are, help him!

Natalia wonders Who took the photos?. Cristobal says who cares? He tried to explain that Natalia and himself just have a great friendship. Natalia weeping swears on her dead husband and her daughter that there was never anything between her and Christobal.

When Romina calls Emiliano to inform about the arrest and for him to help her go to the police station, Romina is not happy. She wonders why whenever Paloma calls Emiliano abandons all to go to her and Emiliano tells her not to be like his mother, Diana. He tells her that Paloma isn’t the cause of their problems. Then Romina asks 'why do you go the minute she calls? Emiliano answers Because it’s important for me. And because whenever she needs me, I’ll be there. Besides, it has to do with Fr. Cristoabl. Great, says Romina, 'then I’m stuck here alone'. Emiliano leaves and tells her 'Don’t wait up'. He leaves. Afer this he called German. He told him to get right down to the police station that Cristobal needs a lawyer!
Emiliano helps Paloma escape through the balcony to go to the station.

Cristobal calls Fr. Benito and fills him in while Fr Mateo waited nearby. Padre B tells Chris to keep in touch and that he and Padre M will pray for him. It looks like Padre M has already started without being told “go.” Padre B hangs up and he and Padre M discuss everything and hope it resolves very quickly.

Luz who met Rafael briefly decides to be more than an acquittance. They spent time together walking the resort hotel’s grounds. In the evening, She asked him to look at all the stars and drag him out to the lawn and down onto the grass to lay on their backs to see the stars better. Rafael confesses he hasn't done this in years smiling. And why not? Says Luz. Rafael says it wasn’t the sort of thing Diana liked to do. 'I love the stars! Says Luz. She twines her fingers in Rafael's and ask if he knows what she is feeling 'you do know what I’m feeling, don’t you? I love feeling your skin. I like being next to you. Rafael says it’s magic. Luz says it is.

Christobal is in a small cell, arms folded, looking annoyed. Who could have done this? We hear Carlota saying Now you will know my fury! Christpbal says to himself “Carlota.”

Emiliano talking to Rafael about his feelings for Paloma and how Romina is making their relationship difficult.

Orlando home now and Camila trying to convince herself that Orlando will make her happy though she is in love with Rafael were together in bed.

The interrogation continues but Cristobal claims he is innocent. Police officer tells him that he will remain in jail until everything is cleared up and he should forget about being a priest.
Carlota comes to visit him. He caresses her hand and begs her to get him out. She agrees while caressing his face. She asks for a kiss and they lean close and Carlota suddenly wakes up. She says to herself even in her dreams he doesn't kiss her. Why?

Emiliano calls Fr Benito and tells him that Cristobal is still in jail. They are accusing him of the murder of Alonzo.

Rufina asks Paloma about her visit to the Police Station the night before and Paloma fills her in on how the police believes that Cristobal had an affair with Natalia and that they both killed Alonzo. Paloma hopes that German will help them. Carlota overhears Paloma talking about the situation at the jail and wonders how she knows what's going on. Rufina claims she heard about it in the streets and told Paloma.

Romina gets upset with Emiliano when she finds out that he and Paloma were out all night together. Emiliano says he can't take her crap anymore. She knew he was going with Paloma since she called and told him.

Paloma asks Mother Superior for permission to miss school so that she can go to the Station. She wants to help in whichever way.

Fr Benito asks Gabriel what he is going to do once he finishes restoring the painting. He hopes to find someone to finish his work.

After the embarrassing situation, Diana decides to leave and is waiting for her car to be brought up when Rafael sees her. He asks her if things are more clear to her now. She doesn't answer. Rafael asks her to stay away from his office and factory. She yells back at him that he can't do that, but Rafael says it's already done. And if you keep provoking me, then there will be even more surprises.

Orlando and Camila get into the car and he realizes that he left his phone in the car. He tells Camila that when he's with her, he forgets everything. She tells him that he better write down the wedding date so that he will not forget. He promises that he won't because it will be at the end of the month. He sees Emiliano called and finds out that Fr Cristobal is in trouble.

Carlota not done yet, spreads her vicious lies to Inez and other women about the affair between Natalia and Cristobal. Inez can't believe that Cristobal would kill anyone. It must be a mistake.

Camila tries to comfort Orlando but he tells her about Cristobal past relationship with Natalia. He also tells her that he was leaving the priesthood to marry Macarena. Camila recalls Macarena calling her excited and wanted to tell her something. Now Camila realizes that she wanted to tell her about the engagement. She feels bad that Macarena died before marrying the man she loved. Orlando says that Macarena died happy because of the knowledge that Cristobal loved her all this time. He also talks about Paloma being Macarena's child. Camila is surprised and wanting more details asks him to pull over. They continue to talk and Camila says that Cristobal is Paloma's father. Orlando disagrees and tells her he met Paloma's real father. Camila doesn't know who he met, but is positive that Macarena had only one man and that was Cristobal.

Cristobal calls Carlota accusing her of being behind his arrest and she should come down to the police station and admit the truth but Carlota mocked him saying he refused her love so he Rot in jail. So this is revenge says Cristobal as he pulls off his priest tie. He tells her he does not know how karma will get her but once it does she will have to pay for all the bad things she's done. Whatever replies Carlota and hangs up. She gets excited and says 'I knew you would call me. You finally will realize that I am the only one that can save you'.
Fr. Benito and Cristobal talk about the pictures, his past relationship with Natalia and how he was going to leave the priesthood for Macarena and now this. He wants to know if the church would expel him for all this.

Rafael and Joel are at the convention and spot Luz a row back and they smile at each other. Joel tries to get Rafael to pay attention. After the convention, Rafael and Luz talk about their time together and Diana. Rafael hopes to see her again.

Diana arrives home and Inez spots her. Diana lied to Inez that she came back early because she realized that she is no longer in love with Rafael and want nothing more to do with him. She wants to get revenge though by getting another man to make Rafael jealous. Inez later tells Diana about Fr, Cristobal's problems.

Romina asks Camila to talk to Paloma. She wants her to convince her to leave Emiliano alone. Camila refuses to get involved. Romina hangs up on her. Orlando offers to talk to Emiliano, but Camila says they shouldnt get involved in their relationship. She goes to the school looking for Paloma and comes across Liliana who starts mocking her. Of course they go back and forth with insults. Romina asks for Paloma and finds out that she left.

Gabriel asks Paloma why Emiliano married another when he's in love with her. Paloma says because of the baby. German comes out and Paloma asks if she can see Cristobal. German will try to see what he can do. Gabriel calls his dad and asks for his help in trying to get Paloma to see Fr. Cristobal.

Angelica checks her messages to see if Dario has emailed her back. She gets frustrated and tries calling him, but gets voicemail.

Camila and Orlando talk about how happy they are when suddenly Samuel comes up and insults Camila. Orlando not going to allow that punches him.

The Arrest of Father Cristobal

As soon as Carlota gets home, she goes straight to her study and brings out the 'doctored' pictures of Natalia and Fr. Cristobal which she keeps in her drawers. She proceeded to writes an anonymous letter blaming Natalia and “her lover, the town priest” Fr, Cristobal,  for Alonso’s death.
German asks Liliana if Paloma will agree to go with him to the graduation. He knows that Paloma is rich and he can benefit from her inheritance.
While Emiliano constantly avoids Romina by not getting home early, Paloma and Gabriel clash incessantly from silly little things.

Immediately German leaves, Liliana calls and tells Emiliano that German is trying to court Paloma. Their friend heard Liliana making the call and she rebukes her afterwards. She tells her that she is jealous and only looking out for herself and not Paloma.
The Police got a call that a man fitting the description of the man reported missing is deposited at the morgue. The Police then got in touch with Natalia about the information. Natalia, Cristobal and Ivonne go to the  morgue to identify Alonso’s body.
Diana finds out that Camila is in Valle de Bravo and makes her way there. Diana arrives and is so socked and surprised to see Rafael with a younger lady, Luz.  She asked who she is and she says she is Luz and she calls Rafael, Rafi which annoys Diana.
After waiting for Dario's calls or emails in vain, Angelica desperately calls Dario to find out how far he's come with the editing of her book. Unknown to her, Dario has taken her book to the copyright office to register it as his own.
Carlota goes to see German and demands to know who read the papers before he took them to her. But he denies anyone including himself did not see the will.
Romina desperate for Emiliano's love asks Paloma to be friends with her again thinking this will stop Emiliano from chasing her but Paloma refuses.

Fr. Cristobal

As Natalia, Yvonne and Cristobal make to leave for Mexico city for the burial of Alonso after the body has been identified, police places Natalia and Cristobal under arrest for killing Alonso. They were at home with Carlota, Rufina and Paloma. Carlota pretends to protest against the arrest but the police still took them away. Since they were all in the house when the police came, Paloma wanted to go with them but Carlota denies her permission to go with Cristobal and Natalia to the police station.
When they got home, Paloma calls and asks Emiliano to help her escape from her house.

Diana expects to surprise Luz and Rafael but she was the one being stunned. She enters a room thinking it was Rafael's and gets into the shower to surprise him and finds Joel instead. Joel was embarrassed and so was she.
At the Station, the Police shows Cristobal and Natalia the anonymous letter and some pictures as their evidence while Cristobal wonders who could have wanted to get rid of Alonso and involve them in it. German is contacted to handle the case and he tells them that it’s impossible for Cristobal and Natalia to get bail since the police have grounds to accuse them of a crime of passion. Fr. Cristobal immediately suspects Carlota because she has told him that he would pay for rejecting him. Cristobal tells German not knowing that he was confiding in an enemy.
Monica and Joel agree to become a couple after Monica confided in Joel that she kept away because her son has down syndrome and she did not want people to reject him or her.
German tells Carlota that Cristobal insists that she was behind the anonymous letter and the photos but she denies it.
Diana decides to step aside and allows Rafael to go. She talks to Emiliano and tells him that she’ll leave Rafael in peace and grant him the divorce.
Rafael runs into Camila and congratulates her on her upcoming wedding.
Paloma is so upset about the arrest that Gabriel advices her to channel her negative emotions through art and would be amazed what will come up.
Finally, the convention was over and Rafael is back to Real de Monte. Luz decides to visits too and met Gabriel. In the studio when Paloma went, Gabriel introduces Luz to her.
Diana sees Luz and Gabriel in a restaurant and goes to see Rafael to tell him about it.
Carlota visits Fr. Cristobal after bribing her way through German and tells Cristobal that she has the perfect alibi to get him out of jail but the latter refuses
 The Police and officials inform Cristobal that in the eyes of the law, he has ceased to be a priest and will not receive any special treatment.
When they were in the Parish house, Gabriel tells Father Benito that his father is a good lawyer and he would gladly help Cristobal.
When Orlando arrives and Camila went to pick him, they talk about the Espinosa Monteros family, the death of Alonso, the arrest and the general problems of their friends and Orlando tells Camila that Paloma is Macarena’s daughter. Camila remembers through a flashback the last conversation she had with Macarena where she was so happy and excited to tell her some good news, Unfortunately she died before they could talk.
Romina asks Camila to tell Paloma to leave Emiliano alone but she refuses.

Alonso is killed by Carlota

Carlota enters Cristobal’s bedroom while he is still dazed due to the belladonna in his drink and set out to take pictures of them together.
 Romina not wanting to be confined to the bed, was up and about. Immediately, Camilla tells her she is traveling with Orlando to the United State opted to go to the house that Orlando bought for them. She has this intention of seducing Emiliano but she could not succeed as Emiliano kept his distance from her. He does not eat her food and does not sleeps in the same bedroom. She then asks her doctor to tell Camila that she can move in with her in their apartment.
Diana feeling scorned and outsmarted by Camilla pays a boy to inform her of everything that happens in the art gallery.
 Paloma gets surprised as her scholarship also includes all the material she needs in the school.
Rafael makes a reservation at a hotel in Valle de Bravo so that Camila will be forced to attend the ceramics convention. When Camila hears it, she goes to Rafael's office to personally cancel all the arrangement he is making for her as per the convention. She tells Rafael to cancel her reservation because she is not going to the ceramics convention. Diana that has a spy at the art gallery and has been informed by the spy of Camilla visits to Rafael, comes in and interrupts them and insults Camila again.
During their class for the troubled girls in the parish, Licha one of the girls who is a drug addict, inhale some of the materials to be used for the painting class. Paloma has to rush her to the hospital. She asks Emiliano for help as Gabriel is angry with her for carelessly keeping such substance with an addict who looks for anything to be high on. Paloma was really sorry. Gabriel tells Cristobal about Paloma and Licha's problem. He also tells him about the secret of his health.
German delivers the amended will to Carlota and tells her that he can be of service to her in any way. He offers to do anything for her. Carlota accepts and decides to make him the new family's lawyer.
Camila tells Orlando that she will go with him to the United States so that she keep a distance between herself and Rafael.
Paloma finally speaks with Rufina over the phone and assures her that her job still awaits her and she should not entertain any fear. She also assures her that if Carlota does not want to take her back that she would talk to Dr. Bermudez to do so until they leave for Mexico.

Alonso reads Arcadia’s letter saying that Carlota poisoned Iñaki and if something happens to her, the culprit will be Carlota. This is what he has been suspecting but could not confirm but now he has the proof. Alonso thought about ways to punish Carlota and make her pay and finally settle on using the same belladonna to kill her. He went to the market and bought the belladonna tea leaves and prepares it. He writes a suicide note and slips it into the back of the daughters picture frame for Natalie. He left and kidnaps Carlota and brings her to a secluded warehouse in Paschuka and ties her up. He then tortures her to get the truth about his son Inaki and how he died. Carlota not willing to go down as a coward blames him and said she defended their family honour. She confesses to killing Inaki and in anger, Alonso forces her to drink belladonna concoction and leaves her inside the warehouse to die. He then left the warehouse.
Diana in frustration and anger wonders why men were wooing Camilla instead of herself. Juanita her maid tells her that Camilla is beautiful, hardworking, independent and rich. She says men would love her for all that and for her charm too. Diana gets furious at Juanita for telling her about Camila’s appeal to men.

Carlota knowing how fatal the belladonna concoction is, did not swallow all. Immediately Alonso leaves her in the warehouse, she manages to escape and follows Alonso outside.  Alonso being overwhelm with pent up emotions of Inaki's death and sour relationship with Natalia, allowed himself to weep. In that state of depression he did not see or hears Carlota right behind him. Carlota follows him and gathered all the strength left in her and push him into the road where a speeding truck ran him over. She killed him and immediately left the warehouse to seek for help. She sees a taxi and the driver takes her to a hospital nearby.
Diana once again tries to seduce Orlando maybe to set him up but he does not fall for her manipulation.
One of the parishioner again sees Cristobal and Natalia together outside her door and he was not happy. He wonders what a Priest is always coming to do in a married woman's house.
In the hospital, Carlota was rushed to the emergency so they can treat her immediately. The doctor asks who poisoned her but she denies that such a thing happened. She calls Paloma and tells her that her treatment was delayed and she would be away for the night and would be back the next day. Samuel walks by Carlota’s room kissing a lady doctor and and sees Carlota. He makes an inquiry to know the truth about her being in the hospital and he realizes that she is hiding something so he proposes a deal in exchange for his silence.
Orlando and Camila arrive at Mexico City airport and are ready to leave but the clerk informs them that Camila’s visa has already expired. Camilla was surprised that she never checked her passport. Orlando not wanting to leave Camilla behind opt to cancel the trip and stay back but Camilla pleaded for him to go since its very important for his business.

LUZ

Rafael and Joel left too for the Ceramic Convention and on the way, they encountered Luz who seems like a fun person because she greeted them playfully.
Lawyer Rojas and German run into each other. Lawyer Rojas advises German to be careful with Carlota as she is mean, hard to please and a woman with dubious character.
Natalia and Yvonne go out to look for Alonso as he did not return home after several hours of being gone.  After searching and asking Paloma and everyone if they have Alonso, Natalia reports to the police that Alonso is missing.
Rufina returns home after her trip to Matomoros to see Edmundo.
Camila from the Airport turn and headed to the Ceramic Convention venue. Rafael and Joel were surprise to see her and she explains why she is there.
Carlota is discharged from the hospital and reproaches Paloma for caring more about Rufina than herself. Dario calls Angelica and congratulates her on her book.

The disaster of a wedding Btw Emiliano and Romina

Romina on her wedding day or 'bed' insisting that the marriage must go on.

Since Carlota is not willing to tell him the truth and he does not believe her story, Fr. Cristobal has to go asks Camila if Macarena spoke to her about Paloma’s father. Camila says No because Macarena was going to keep that a secret. The only information Macarena was going to share was her marriage proposal to him and their relocation to Mexico.
Orlando sure that his subtle Blackmail has worked and Rafael is staying away from Camila, proposes to her and she agrees to marry him.
Emiliano has to confront German and forces him to tell about his relationship with Romina and the probability of him being the father of the unborn child but he denies.

Rufina gets a call from Edmundo's grand daughter that he is ill and needs her to come to Matamoros. It took Carlota a while to accept for her to travel. When Rufina leaves to go and see Edmundo, Carlota hires a new maid. The maid knows Rufina and being worried that she will be out, asks Carlota if her employment is permanent and she says yes that Rufina is not coming back .But Romina tells her that Rufina is coming back and she will resumes her job.
Paloma realizing that there is no way she can continue hiding her love for Emiliano from Romina and considering that its proven through the test that he is the father of Romina's unborn baby, she visits and tells her about her relationship with Emiliano. Paloma also confronts Romina about her and her relationship with German. She tells Romina that she saw her kissing German and that she will not attend her wedding nor be present in her baby’s baptism.
In order to sign the divorce papers, Diana or Gudelia according to Orlando demands that a clause be inserted in the divorce document prohibiting Rafael from marriage again. Rafael refuses such insane requests and tell Diana he would do no such thing.
 Camila as a partner in Rafael's business was invited for a ceramic convention. She has to tell Orlando about the convention and Orlando gets upset as he has planned to invite her on a trip to the U.S.
Rufina finally gets to Matamoros and is surprised as Edmundo was never sick and that he made this all up just to get her to come see him. She now decided to come back to Real de Monte but no vehicle to the town immediately.

Romina and Emiliano
The wedding day came and the groom with a long face gets ready to be joined together in marriage to the mother of his supposed baby. Camilla and himself tried talking Romina out of the wedding but she refused. Just before the ceremony started, Romina's baby started showing sign of distress but Romina refused to heed the sign and forges ahead with the celebration.

Paloma exhibition was on the day of Romina's wedding and she did not attend. She invites Carlota to her painting exhibition though she knows Carlota does not support her painting.
Cristobal asks Carlota to give him the contact details of Paloma’s alleged father as he wishes to speak with him. Carlota arranges the meeting of Juan, Paloma’s alleged father, and Cristobal.
Alonso finds out that Javier and Sagrario left a great fortune for Paloma and she will come into her inheritance at the age of Eighteen

Romina starts bleeding during her wedding and has to leave immediately to her room.
Camilla again tries to stop the wedding but Romina refuses.

Eugenio Lizarde admires Paloma’s paintings and offers Paloma a scholarship. Paloma was ecstatic but Carlota wasn't. She knows scholarship means freedom for Paloma and she is not allowing that.
while Romina begs Dr. Bermudez to save her baby since it is the only thing that will assure her of a life with Emiliano.
Paloma meets Eugenio Lizardi at the art exhibition and he introduces to her his son Gabriel. Paloma is shocked that of all people, its Gabriel that is his son.
Cristobal talks to Juan and is surprised by the revelations he heard from him about Macarena.He could not believe what Juan is saying but he doubt some of those stories.

Diana gets drunk and accuses Camila for stealing her husband. Rafael has to help her to a seat and tries shutting her up so that she does not embarrass herself the more.
Romina and Emiliano talk  but Romina insists that they get married in spite her bleeding and the wedding will take place by her bedside. Emiliano agrees but informs her that if she looses the baby through her stubbornness or aggressiveness, he will divorce her.
Diana informs Rafael that she won’t sign the divorce papers anymore since she knows he is leaving her for Camilla.
Rufina gets ill in Matamoros and refuses to take her drugs insisting on going back to Real de Monte.
The Priest was called into the room to go ahead with the wedding ceremony as planned. The wedding rites were conducted and Emiliano was asked to kiss the bride, he just simply stomped out of the room and walked away. Romina was screaming his name but h refused to wait or even acknowledged greetings from the quests around. He spends his wedding night in the car outside Camila’s house and assures Romina that he will never sleep on the same bed with her. When Romina was sad on how her wedding night turn out, Camilla reminded her that it was not marriage based on love and passion but marriage out of duty and responsibility. So she should be awake to the reality as that's how the marriage will be. A loveless marriage.
Rafael begs Camila not to marry Orlando but she insists she will and nothing will stop her.
Fr. Cristobal doubts that Juan is telling the truth about Macarena and when he got back, he told the other Priests his experience and doubt but they advised him to move on and put that behind him.
During a conversation, Paloma tells Cristobal that he will be the only man she will ever call father.
Carlota is seen pouring belladonna in a bottle after brewing. She prepares it in a small bottle and left for the parish house to lay ambush for Fr. Cristobal because the other priests were going away for a meeting outside Real de Monte. Immediately the coast was clear and Cristobal was alone drinking, Carlota got in and later pours the belladonna concoction into Cristobal’s drink.
Camila tells Diana to stop insulting her because she isn’t to blame for her unhappy marriage but herself for being selfish and unappreciative.
Alonso tries to bribe German so that he can take a look at Javier’s will. German accepts the bribe because he wants to live big.
Arcadia’s niece goes to see Alonso and gives him Arcadia’s supposed letter to Carmen. From the letter, he read how Carlota kills his son.

Enters Gabriel Lizarde

Orlando asks Camila to marry him when he has eliminated his rival Rafael from the race by blackmailing him with exposing Diana's fraudulent past to Emiliano.
After seeing her husband and Camila kissed, Diana gets home and planned her revenge. She needs to harass Camila without her knowing that she is the one so she takes her maid, Juanita’s mobile phone and uses it to send insulting messages to her. Camila was really disturbed and she told Monica and Meche and wonders who the sick person is.
Alonso now living with Natalia, overhears her and Ivonne discuss his infidelity and he remembers that Carlota had seen him at that time. He immediately knows Carlota would have informed Natalia.
Romina asks Camila to help her organize her wedding  and she wants a grand and elaborate wedding not minding what Emiliano thinks. Paloma on her side, is so angry and depressed at her inability to find love that lasts. Emiliano keeps calling  and sending text messages but Paloma ignores his text messages.

Diana complains to Carlota about a woman who took her husband away from her and Carlota advises her to confront the woman and accuse her of stealing her husband. Samuel shows up at the art gallery and blames Camila for raising Romina carelessly. He is angry that Romina still a teenager is pregnant. Camila sends him out and asks where he was when Romina needed him the most.
When Ines confesses that she helped Diana to frame Orlando for the assault on Diana to Fr. Cristobal, he  advises her to visit Orlando to tell him the truth about Diana (Gudelia). Ines agrees and went to see Orlando. Orlando pleads with her to wait till Emiliano is present and explains everything that happened in front of Emiliano. She accepted so she asked that as soon as Emiliano comes, they should come to her house.
 Palomafinally agrees to see Emiliano with the pleading of Liliana and Rufina to at least hear his side of the story. They eventually meet for the last time.
 Emiliano informs Romina that there won’t be any church wedding and refuses to become her puppet.
With what was happening in her life and her emotions running haywire, Paloma went to the church to pray and talk to Fr. Cristobal. Paloma wanders through the church and climbs up the Bell Tower to think and probably reflects on all that has been happening to her love life. Gabriel that has just been commissioned by the Church to restore some of the paintings was walking by. He looks up and thinking she wants to throw herself down, rushed up the stairs to where Paloma was and pulls her down. They both fall to the ground. Paloma was really angry but Gabriel believes that Paloma is about to throw herself off the bell tower that’s why he pulled her to safety.
When Emiliano came back to the office, Orlando asks him to accompany her to see Ines for her story so they went. Diana went to see Ines and saw Orlando's car so she hid and watched. When Orlando and Emiliano come out of Ines’ house, she accuses Ines of betraying her. Emiliano is so devastated to hear the truth about his mother so he goes to see Fr. Cristobal.
Paloma eventually takes up Dr. Bermudez invitation and calls him to tell him that she has decided to go with him to Mexico City. Unfortunately Carlota listens to their conversation on the extension.
Cristobal, Alonso, Dr. Bermudez, Natalia and Rufina meet to discuss Paloma’s situation in Natalia's house.   Rufina suspects that Carlota has something to do with Arcadia’s death because of some dents on her van while Alonso is sure that Carlota killed Iñaki because she insisted the latter be buried right away without going through an autopsy.
Paloma went to the Church to pray so Fr. Cristobal sees her and they starts to talk. Paloma says her mother used to come to the church to pray always and Cristobal was surprised she can still remember what her mother did when she had died several years ago. Paloma informs him that she is Macarena’s daughter. Fr. Cristobal was surprised but also shocked at the revelation because he figures she might be his daughter.
Diana pays some boys to throw eggs at Camila’s gallery and write “harlot”boldly  on her wall. Camila and her staff came out to clean the provocating writing from her walls and inadvertently says out loud that she loves Rafael and Rafael who happens to be around hears her.
Despite lack of love, Romina and Emiliano continue with their wedding plans while Camila tells Rafael that she doesn’t want to start a relationship with him since he isn’t a free man.
The much awaited documents arrive for Carlota from Mexico City and German discovers that Paloma is about to inherit a fortune. After opening and reading the will, German makes copies for himself for future use. Since Rufina is not around, Cristobal asks Carlota if he is Paloma’s father but she denies it
 Romina to ensure that Paloma stays away from Emiliano shows Paloma her wedding dress. She went on on how Emiliano is in love and how he is eager for the marriage.
Orlando tells Romina that he is giving them an apartment as a wedding present while Rafael is determined to fight for Camila’s love in anyway he can.
