The confrontation

Carmelo after dropping the corpse in the river probably to be eaten by fishes, rushed back to the city. He put a call through to Jessica threatening her with death like Emilia and Lupe if she does not withdraw her confession accusing him of forgery. Luis and Alicia came to see Sebastian to console him on Lupe's death. They accused Carmelo of Killing Emilia and Lupe too. Sebastian was waiting for Carmelo to force him to confess all the crime done to Lupe. Carmelo went to the hospital to pick Catalina but was held back for questioning on the death of Lupe the night before. He denied any knowledge and instead accused Sebastian and Catalina of adultery. He said that his accusers just wanted to confuse the authority.
Antonio felt bad that Lupe died without acknowledging him. A mass was conducted for Emilia and at the mass, Father Dimitris told the woshippers that Lupe was dead and a mass would be conducted later. Antonio called Miss Antoniete out and asked her about the drowning when he was a baby. She denied it so Antonio said she only gave him life and a truck. He gave her back the truck keys and promised doing something with his life. Miss Antoniete remembered what Ruffi and the father told her so she ran after him. She later admitted and asked for his forgiveness. At Miss Antoniete's ranch, Antonio asked what she did with the Perez's child and she said she gave it to Petra. At the end they concluded that Carmelo is that child.
Carmelo got to the penthouse and sebastian confronted him on the disappearance of Lupe' body by dazing him blows. He later went to make a statement that Sebastian beat him up and ran away with his wife. He went to his apartment to get the gun but Marcelo that had been waiting for him had taken the gun. He held Carmelo captive till the next day when they would go to the bank for his share. Sebastian and Catalina left for Alicia's and it was decided that Catalina should go into hiding. Sebastian accused Petra of messing with innocent babies lives. She pleaded for forgiveness and said that she regretted it. Eduardo finally said goodbye to Catalina and left.
Adela went to see Ricardo claiming he's her last hope on becoming rich but was orderd out by Silvia and Ricardo could not do anything instead blamed the mother for always bothering Silvia.
Jessica ran to the church for safety and asked Father Dimitris not to tell anyone her whereabout not even her grandfather Chucho who was in Mexico.
