The End of Catalina-y-Sebastian

Carmelo went with Catalina to Santa Cruz for the burial of Lupe. In the church, he was prevented by the town folks from entering. The police chief told him the coroner's report indicated that Lupe did not die when his will was read but recently and he was the principal suspect. He replied that he was there for the burial and afterwards he could be questioned. The town folks disagreed and Panchito brought handcuff to tie him to a tree. He snatched the handcuff from the old man and handcuffed Catalina to himself instead daring anyone. Sebastian ran and entered the car and sped off followed by Ramiro and Chuchu. At the ranch he got a gun to go kill Carmelo and all entreaties by the duo did not stop him. Carmelo entered the church and pointed the gun at the crowd so everyone backed off while he approached the coffin. He started crying and still rebuked Lupe in death for not acknowledging and loving him. He started confessing how he kidnapped and kept him to himself with the hope that he would love him but he rejected him. Panchito stepped forward and sweet talked him into confessing all while trying to distract and open the handcuff to release Catalina.
Silvia's Will was to be read so the Attorney called Eduardo. When Ricardo saw Eduardo he became angry but the Attorney said that was Silvia's request. The Will was a video recorded prior to the unfortunate surgery. Ricardo got a shocker because everything except fond memories were left for Eduardo. The jerk called Ricardo got memories, shame and disappointment. He flew into a rage and rushed out to see the mother who was being discharged from hospital crying with frustration and embarrassment. He had no choice than to go look for a job in a restaurant and he had to start at the bottom cleaning. Adela was taken to their new home which was Alicia's humble home.
Sebastian rushed back to the burial mass with a gun and asked Carmelo to leave but he got angry and kicked the coffin twice in disrespect to the dead saying he would only leave with Catalina his wife. Jessica rushed in saying Catalina was not his wife because he married her with the Mendoza's surname and at that time, his name was not legally changed. What a relief to all and anger to Carmelo who pulled Catalina to himself and pointed the gun to kill Sebastian because she professed her love and loyalty to him. The police Chief shot him narrowly missing Catalina. Carmelo fell on Miss Antoniete's lap. (What irony) Petra the custodian of secrets finally told her that Carmelo was her son. The dying son rejected the mother and said it was okay to die without knowing whom his mother was and the mother also rejected and pushed him off her lap. (What a shame).Panchito finally got a chance and freed Catalina who ran into Sebastian's arm. Back home, Josephat packed out leaving Miss Antoniete with loneliness, bitterness and the knowledge that Carmelo was her son. The police came to ask for the corpse to be moved but Miss Antoniete denied any relationship with Carmelo and drove him out. What a sad end to mischief, wickedness and jealousy.
Sebastian came to see Adela and offered his love, support and financial assistance to the Negretes but having learnt their mistake, they rejected the offer. Gustavo promised working hard and ensuring they all live within his income. The only person who would have objected would have been Adela but fate had settled her case by confining her to a wheel chair and shutting her up. Even Luisa vowed to study hard to get government scholarship.
The marriage by the church was wonderful and successful. Ricardo did not come for the wedding because he had to work. Father Dimitris joined Catalina and Sebastian together in Holy matrimony before all the town folks. After the wedding, Ramiro was busy signing autographs for all his fans. Adela could not wear all those fanciful clothes because she was on a wheel chair. Sebastian and Catalina sealed their marriage with a Kiss.
