Lupe finally died

Carmelo went to confirm that Lupe was alive then went to inform his accomplice and together, they left for the hospital to kill Lupe.

While still talking to Sebastian and Martina, Lupe died and the children were devastated. Romero and Catalina came in to console them. The nurse rushed in and confirmed that he had died so she left to inform the doctor on duty. But she came back saying the doctor was busy with surgery operations. While grieving outside, Carmelo and Marcelo came to the hospital and overheard the news so a changed of plan saw them changed into hospital cleaners uniforms. They got in while the others were making their complaint to the police about them kidnapping and killing Lupe.
Antonio was desperate to know the truth. He left to see Wakina who told him they exchanged their baby for Miss Antoniete's because of money. They also wanted Antonio to find out who Miss Antoniete gave their son to. They lied about their involvement. Meanwhile, Miss Antoniete's wants Antonio to continue with her revenge of hurting the Mendoza's. Antonio came back and felt bad that his supposed family did not want him. He felt lonely but Panchito comforted him. Antonio confronted Miss Antoniete who pleaded for forgiveness and understanding of her situation then. She cried and asked for a chance to change. Can a leopard change her skin?
Carmelo and Marcelo picked the corpse from the hospital and drove toward the town to dispose of it into the river. The police in the hospital cannot prove the accusation since the body had disappeared. Marcelo now wanted by all means the share of the inheritance so he can leave Mexico to the beaches in Canada.
Sebastian and Catalina left for the penthouse after lodging the complaint with the police. Adela refused them to stay but Sebastian told her he still owns the penthouse since the change in documents had not taken place. They told her Carmelo is a wanted man for murder.

Lupe saw his children

Catalina led the way to the clinic and pleaded with the doctor to let her stay in the clinic till the next morning. The doctor initially wanted to object but the plea in her eyes and voice made him to cooperate with her and place her on admission. Carmelo was there and wanted his bodyguards to stay but the doctor refused and told him the goons should stay outside the hospital gate. Sebastian and Martina left the ranch for the city and placed all arraangement for the burial of Emilia in the hands of Romero's mother and father Dimitris.
The trio from the town arrived and went through the back door into the hospital. Immediately they entered and behold Guadalupe their father in flesh. Lupe was so glad to see them that he started weeping. He admitted that he was wrong about Carmelo. He told them everythng Carmelo did and told them that the two of them are his children that he never had any other child. Sebastian told him he got his mother's letter from Father Dimitris and read it to confirm that he's Lupe's son. He was so glad and said that he never doubted that he was his son. He told him he's glad that he's having a son, his own grandson. He asked them to name their first son GUADALUPE after him. He apologised for mistrusting Catalina. She had forgiven. Lupe spoke to Romer to always be there for Martina even when she had to make those difficult decisions.
The nurse was earlier told to call the Negrete's residence again since the earlier call did not yield any result but she forgot. She now remembered in the night that she had to call. Gustavo and Adela went to bed and during discussion, Gustavo almost told Adela about Lupe but the warning by Catalina stopped him. Carmelo was back to the penthouse and when the call came, got it. The nurse told him she wanted to speak to Catalina and he said that he was her husband so he should tell him. The nurse then told him Guadalupe was in the hospital but was very sick and he wanted to see Catalina urgently. He now realised why Catalin was really desperate to stay in the hospital. He went to the hospital and overheard Sebastian telling Catalina that Carmelo would be prosecuted for Kdnapping. Carmelo left and went to his apartment where Marcelo was staying. He told Marcelo that Lupe is alive and in the hospital where Gustavo was. Marcelo the evil genius, planned how to kill and dispose of the body without any trace to them.

Antonio is desperate to know the truth about his origin. He wanted to go speak with Rufina since Josepha cannot talk because of Miss Antoniete. Rufina when confronted by him said that he should believe Miss Antoniete.

GOD came to Man

God Came To Man

As the bell rings, as the choir sings the joy of Christmas filters in. Xmas carols bring memories….The Grace Levites brings His presence. All in the memory of the day God came to man.

He came as your miracle at Christmas, He lived to share blessings to mankind and the greatest – He died and rose to establish a covenant with us. What a God!

The covenant of Calvary started as a miracle in the manger. The journey to the Hades, the battle to subdue principalities and powers, gaining the keys of hell, obtaining the name above all names, all started by the first cry of a little child in the manger.

For us, victory over sin, regaining His presence and eternal life would have been elusive if there was no miracle of Christmas. All we have to say is “Thank You Lord”.

The Paul’s kind of winning and the John’s definition of victory would have been a fairy tale by the moonlight if He didn’t come as a baby. Again, all we have to say is “Thank You Lord”.

Perhaps, the greatest lesson of Christmas is love (John 3:16 ). As we gather, as we celebrate it is important to spread the lesson of the season. It is important to show someone your love, it is important to be someone’s miracle this Xmas. Its important to share, give and love.

Jesus is the reason for the celebration. Do not take Him out of it.

Catalina discovered Lupe

Catalina got there and discovered the lonely and dying old man was Lupe that everyone was looking for. She got there by chance and by her act of kindness and discovered Lupe. He told her everything about his kidnap and Carmelo's wickedness. He asked for her forgiveness and asked to see her children before he died. She calmed him down and advised him to rest that she would get in touch with Sebastian immediately. She went out and entered the car and told the bodyguard to hike a ride to the penthouse. They stopped at a phone booth to call Sebastian while Gustavo and the rest went home.
Due to the story of Emilia, Sebastian and the others organised a search for Lupe at the ranch and its surrounding. They were convinced that Lupe will be in the ranch because Emilia came back there to search not knowing that Marcelo lied to her.
The bodyguard told Carmelo that Catalina got away and left him in the hospital. As usual, he was furious and told Adela that if she does not arrive with the others and got back with Sebastian that he would hurt the baby. How wicked can he be.
Sebastian told the police to search for Lupe and they said that they are waiting for the paperwork to be completed. He was angry at their bureaucrasy and slow pace of investigation. But the policemen that came said that rules must be followed. They calmed Sebastian down and everyone was in mournful mood because of Emilia. They started paying tributes to her. Emilia really needed Affection but in a wrong way. Sebastian was really sad that she died trying to help her but Miss Antoniete revealed that she had started sleeping with Marcelo before Lupe disappeared so he should not blamed himself for her dead. Sebastian now told everyone that he was later told all the evil things she and Jessica did to separate Catalina and him. He also informed them that Catalina is expecting his baby and he had gotten back togetther. Miss Antoniete started plotting how to get Lupe's grandson and used the boy against him.
Catalina called home and was told Carmelo was waiting for her. She then called Jessica's but no one was there. She called the ranch and Sebastian picked the call. She told him she has found Lupe and he should come immediately. Sebastian went back to tell everyone that he and Martina with Romero will be going back to Mexico because Catalina found their father in the hospital. He warned that no one else should know in other not to endanger Lupe's life.
Carmelo being told Catalina was sick and stayed back in the hospital, went back to search for her. After informing Sebastian, Catalina went back to the hospital to be with Lupe. She told him that Sebastian was on his way. They now heard Carmelo outside so she rushed out. She told Carmelo that the doctor drove her out when he heard him yelling so she would rather go and wait in the clinic for the doctor.

Emilia dead

Emilia died in that inferno. Marcelo then realised how desperate and evil his so called friend and he would have died too. The town folks heard the explosion and rushed to the scene. Marcelo hid behind the tree and vowed to kill Carmelo. After assuring himself that Emilia and Carmelo are dead, Carmelo headed for Chuchu's house. He waited for Chuchu to leave the house then he sneaked in and threatened Jessica with death like Emilia if she does not recalled her earlier statement.
Lupe recovered a bit and gave the nurse Catalina's phone number. The nurse called but Adela and Luisa had left for house hunting. The maid got the call but wrote it on the notebook by the phone and left for the day. Gustavo in the same hospital was happy to be with Petra. He encouraged her to continue with her studies now that she is in the city.
Marcelo quickly got dressed and left for the city for a showdown with his accomplice. When he entered the apartment with a gun, Carmelo brought out his own too and they were pointing gun at each other. They later decided to work together to find Guadalupe and kill him. To ensue that, they decided to open a joint account that both will be signatory to. Afterwards, Carmelo hired a detective to look for Lupe.
Chuchu came back and Jessica confessed that Emilia was in town claiming Lupe was hidden there. Chuchu called Sebastian but he was out to see Mr Gustavo. At the hospital Sebastian entered the room the father was but the nurse unfortunately stopped him claiming a wrong room. When he entered the room Gustavo was, he heard Catalina professing her love for him and what Carmelo was trying to do to her pregnancy, he blurted out Never. He told them that he would fight to defend and protect her and their baby. The bodyguards saw him leaving and questioned him but he told them he came to look for Carmelo and they should tell him hes looking for him. The doctor came and said Gustavo would be discharged that day so Catalina went to the gym to ask for Luis help to take her father home.
Sebastian was told of Jessica's confession so he left for the town. He and Chuchu went to the police to report their suspicion. So the police went with them.
Antoniete and her son Antonio went back to the town since they could not find Lupe in Mexico. Back in the town from Mexico, they met the search party and Antonio joined them. They were told too that Emilia was dead.
Gustavo was discharged from the hospital and Luis came with a basket of fruit to take him home. Gustavo refused it so Catalina in her usual good and kind self took the basket to give the lonely old man the nurses have been talking about. She told the bodyguard to wait while she gives out the basket.

Catalina pregnant

Catalina was allowed to stay behind to care for her dad. A bodyguard was assigned to her to ensue she does not see Sebastian. She told the bodyguard that she was going to use the restroom. She left to see Sebastian in the coffee shop and told him she is pregnant with his baby. He did not believe her because she's been married to Carmelo for a while. She told him she married Carmelo because of a deal.
Alicia went to gym to inform Ricardo that Gustavo was beaten up but Silvia became jealous. What a woman. Ricardo without her, left to see the father. Ricardo and Alicia met up with Catalina in the coffee bar and Ricardo warned Catalina not to loose Carmelo as he would not share his 'inheritance' from Silvia with the family. Alicia told him to shut up as Catalina married due to a deal. Sebastian was confused and asked of the deal. While Ricardo and Alicia went to see Gustavo, Sebastian stood up and left for home. Catalina followed and they both became drunk on Tequila. Meanwhile, Carmelo was busy convincing Marcelo to kill Emilia for spreading the news that Lupe is alive. The bodyguard called that Catalina left since and had not returned to the hospital and Carmelo became mad with anger and jealousy. He left to look for her in the penthouse meanwhile she was at Jessicas with Sebastian. Wakina came to look for her real son.
Adela asked Miss Antoniete and Antonio to leave as Carmelo was not around and after telling her that Antonio does not look like her or Lupe. Miss Antoniete offered to pay Adela much more money than Carmelo was paying if only she can spy on him and informed them where Lupe was being kept captive.
Catalina came back to the penthouse into the fury of a furious Carmelo but she escaped the probe. She told Carmelo that there is a possibility that she's pregnant. Carmelo overruled that and said that she cannot have another man's son while married to him. Luisa suggested divorce but he said NO. At the hospital it was confirmed that Catalina was pregnant. Carmelo did not receive the news kindly and asked the doctor to terminate the pregnancy. The doctor ordered them out.
Chuchu went to Alcatraz and apologised for the falsification of Lupe's will by his granddaughter Jessica.
Miss Antoniete took the criticism of Adela seriously and wanted to investigate the origin of Antonio.
Marcelo got the money to kill Emilia but ran away with her instead. Before leaving for the town, Emilia went to see Sebastian and explained her relationship with Marcelo. She said she wanted to help find Lupe and would do anything for Sebastian. In the town where they stopped first, Emilia went to mock Jessica saying that she had lost Sebastian as she was going to find Lupe. She left to see Father Dimitris to confess everything about Lupe's disappearance and Carmelo's plot to kill her.
Sebastian came to see Catalina but she went to the hospital so he waited. Petra and Alicia came and confirmed that the baby is his and that she loves him very much. Petra told him all the intrigues Emilia and Jessica did to separate them. Petra and Alicia left. Adela ordered him out and he confronted her with Catalina's pregnancy but she denied while Luisa confirmed it and got a slap from Adela for her effort.
While at the river side doing their thing, Carmelo came and planted a bomb at the tyre of Marcelo's car. Emilia asked that Marcelo showed her where Lupe was and he said he does not know as he escaped. Emilia became angry, threw his clothes and wristwatch into the river, grapped her clothes and rushed into the car. The bomb exploded and the car and Emilia went up in flames.

Jessica uncovered

When Lupe escaped he tried to contact people but it was not possible. Help too was not forthcoming as people took him for a drunk. He wandered around in a terrible state until a good samaritan saw him unconscious in the park and called an ambulance.
Catalina and Luisa were worried about Lupe because he had not come home but Adela was more concerned about the house in Carmelo promised to buy for her. She and Carmelo were interested in purchasing a house immediately. For Adela, the house is to show off to her friends while for Carmelo, its a place to hide Lupe when found although his excuse for hurrying to move out was that Catalina was cheating on him with Sebastian. Catalina and the others went out in search of Lupe and saw him beaten and abandoned in the alley. He was rushed to the hospital. Catalina left the hospital and went home to accuse Carmelo and he admitted sending thugs to beat Gustavo. He warned them to abide by his rules or face the consequences. Adela did not see anything wrong with that but accused her family of provoking Carmelo. She then sought permission to go see her husband.
Emilia went to see Marcelo with the aim of getting the information of Lupe's whereabout. Suspecting her motive and wanting to get her full attention, Marcelo came clean on Lupe's disappearance and their involvement. Carmelo went to see Marcelo and let himself in. He went straight to the bedroom and overheard Marcelo telling Emilia all the secrets.
Sebastian still looking for Jessica called Chuchu and at that time, she was just arriving so Sebastian, Martina and Romero left the city ti find out what she knows about Lupe's disappearance. Jessica had started confessing her alteration of the will when they arrived and heard her. They were all shocked because no one thought she could do such a thing to Sebastian that she professed to love. She denied any involvement with the kidnapping .
Antonio reproached Miss Antoniete on giving her son away. She said that she regretted it. They now left for the penthouse to talk to Carmelo.
At the hospital, Catalina told her family that she's pregnant with Sebastian's son. Adela almost went into a fit. She ordered her to abort the baby. When Adela left, Gustavo advised Catalin to tell Sebastian the truth about the marriage and the baby shes expecting. Catalin then took permission to stay with her father so that she can slipped out to see Sebastian. They met at the cafe and she told Sebastian the pregnancy is his but he denied it and left. She followed him to Jessicas and they began drinking.
Adela got home and Carmelo told her he needed her absolute trust and loyalty so he gave her so much money for shopping. Adela instead would give Catalina the money to abort the pregnancy.
Not seeing Catalina with Adela, Carmelo went to search for her in Sebastian place but the door was not opened. Miss Antoniete and Antonio went to the penthouse to look for Carmelo. Adela started mocking Antoniete for having a young lover but she told her that he's her son. Trust Adela, she noticed the difference in skin colour and asked Antoniete to prove it that truly he is..
Lupe is recovering in the hospital as his blood pressure has gone down
Petra left the town to Mexico to help Alicia plan her wedding.

Lupe escaped

The ladies reviewed the Charity Concert. Adela informed them of the money for hiring the venue and asked to be given the money to pay the owner. Unfortunately for her, Kiki had mandated one of them to check that claim earlier and they were informed that the venue was free as part of the owners' contribution to charity. Adela tried exonerating herself by feignng anger and promised to go talk to the owner. Her 'show' did not convince her friends of her innocence.
Antonio came back to see Carmelo to force him to confess to the crime against Lupe. He met Catalina who was actually looking for a way to go check if the suspicion is true that she is pregnant. Antonio accused Catalina of being accomplice to the kidnapping of Lupe and she was furious. Not wanting to bandy words with him, she called Carmelo out to see him. She then seized the opportunity to to go see Alicia. She told Carmelo she was going to see Alicia and he can accompanied her. Carmelo knew he cannot go because of Antonio but issued a warning that she would be sorry if she cheated on her with Sebastian.
At Alicia's the two friends carried out the home test for pregnancy and it was positive. They were so happy because the child is Sebastians. Catalina's worry was that Sebastian would never believe her nor accept the pregnancy.
Lupe's condition became worse due to the injection given indiscriminately to put him to sleep. Carmelo was called up to see the him and provide a doctor for him. He became angry and accused the father of neglect, abandonment and non acknowledgement of him as his son. Guadalupe as stubborn as ever told him he is not his son and will never be. Carmelo got angry and Lupe too was angry and asked him to kill him at once to end the torment. He pushed a pillow to him to use in ending his life and the crazy Carmelo took the pillow and started suffocating him. Marceloand the nurse pushed him off. Marcelo calmed him down and took him to the penthouse. He told him there are better and neater ways of killing Lupe without tracing it back to them.
Gustavo, another thorn in the flesh of Carmelo dared Carmelo and left the penthouse without his permission saying he was not in jail or detention. Carmelo detailed the bodyguard to teach him a lesson. Gustavo defied the orders to go buy papers on the street. The bodyguards left guarding Lupe and went after him.
Lupe woke up and saw that everywhere was quiet. He saw the nurse sleeping from exhaustion of the aggression so he tiptoed to the door and noted that the bodyguards were not at the door. He quickly woke the nurse and asked him to call Carmelo that he was not feeling well. The nurse rushed out. At the penthouse, Kiki came to see Adela and was shocked at Carmelo's foul behaviour. Adela tried her excuses on his behalf but it did not work. Carmelo left to see Lupe but while the nurse left, Lupe bolted out. He would have been seen but he quickly took the staircase. The nurse got back and Lupe was gone. She rushed back to inform Carmelo who began to threatened her.
The bodyguards trailed Gustavo to an alley so they began beating and kicking him. Lupe was down and saw them so he quickly veered off to the street.

The Charity Concert

Romero did not want to go for the concert because of the Boom Boys but was forced later by Sebastian to go. At the concert venue, Martina was dying to see him and make up once Frankie talks to him. She was so restless that Jessica the madam of cool- and- calculting strategies warned her not to let Romero see her nervous she was. Sebastian and Romero came and sat down only for Carmelo and Catalina to arrive. Of course to make Sebastian jealous and furious, Carmelo insisted that they seat next to the Mendozas. Well the deal was that in front of the people, Catalina has to pretend to be a loving wife. She hated it and was dying to tell Sebastian how much she loved him. Kiki, Adela and her other friends were on the high table. The charity concert was a hugh success with the hall filled to capacity. After the concert, Catalina became sick and rushed out of the venue, on the way down she fainted and Sebastian had to rush to help her to a seat before Carmelo came and a doctor was called. Luisa saw the boys before they departed and for the first time, Auberto kissed her goodbye. She was dazed but enjoyed it. Adela told her to take advantage and force him to make a commitment. What a mother. She had already calculated the fees for the renting of the hall as part of her gain and informed the others but Kiki quickly asked that to be checked and confirmed from the manager.
While at the concert, Gustavo went with Alicia and Luis to make a report at the police station. The police then issued a warrant of search.
The room was searched but no one was there. The police warned Gustavo of false alarm. Carmelo was livid with anger and promised that the father-in-law will pay. When the police left Gustavo asked him what he was doing with microwave and a telly. He told them that the room is used as his office so he had the right to relax after work or heat his food before eating.
Afterwards, he instructed that Guadalupe be moved back to the room so that he can keep an eye on him. He also told the bodyguards to trail Gustavo and deal with him if he is stubborn.
Back at the penthouse, everyone was warned to stay indoors. No one is allowed to go out without Carmelo's permission. What a terror.

Contender for inheritance

While discussing with Marcelo in the bedroom, Carmelo told him of his decision to transfer Lupe to his apartment until he cleared himself of the suspicion.To gether they left for shopping because Marcelo wants to get Emilia back. Marcelo bought things for Emilia and agreed to go supervise the moving of Lupe again. In the room upstairs, Lupe asked Marcelo if he has accepted to help him escape and he would not be implicated in the kidnapping saga. Carmelo came in and heard them. He accused Marcelo of betrayal and threatened Lupe.

Gustavo with Catalina concluded to report the case to the police so that they would not become accomplices in the kidnap of Lupe. When they leave for the concert, Gustavo was to bring the police to search that room upstairs. But Carmelo had beaten them to it.

When they got to the city, Antonio went to see Sebastian to offer his help and to inform him that they were half brothers. Sebastian rejected his help and denied any relationship between them despite Antonio insistence. He said his father Lupe was not so mean to father and abandon the child even if the hateful Miss Antoniette was the mother. Antonio told Miss Antoniete about it and she was angry that he went without consulting her. Afterwards they went together to see Carmelo in his fomer apartment but no one was there. They went to the penthouse and Catalina and Luisa. Antonio was introduced as Miss Antoniete's son. Catalina's help and cooperation was sought for in locating where Lupe was hid. Carmelo came in and was angry with them for daring to come to the penthouse saying Lupe was dead. On being told, Antonio is Lupe's son, he accused Miss Antoniete of wanting to share in the inheritance of Lupe. He did not believe them and orderd them out of the penthouse.
When Antonio left, Sebastian called Rufina and she confirmed that Lupe slept with Miss Antoniete once and she became pregnant. Jessica came back and had to leave for the concert with Martina while Sebastian waited for Romero. Romero went to see Chucho on his way to Mexico and he confided in him that he suspected Jessica of conniving with Carmelo to change the Will. He also suspected that she knew about Lupe's disappearance.
In Mexico city, Romero could not tell Sebastian the suspicion of Chuchu but went with him to see Miss Antoniete to confirm the rumour that Antonio is her son with Lupe. She was out but Josepha was home and refused to confirm or deny the rumour. She pleaded with them to wait for Miss Antoniete who would soon be back.
Adela went to see Kiki to go to the concert together. Kiki accused her of giving out too many free tickets. In actual fact, she collected money from all those people.

He is my son

The telly was brought to the sitting area so that everyone can see Adela who was shown few seconds. A telly was taken upstairs too for Lupe and the nurse.
The bodyguard told Carmelo that Sebastian came to see Catalina. Carmelo became furious and left to confront her but the nurse stopped him to discuss Lupe's health. She told him Lupe is very ill and needed medical attention urgently. Carmelo would not be distracted so the nurse warned him that she is a nurse and not a murderer.
Sebastian told Jessica that he went to see Catalina in the penthouse to solicit her help in finding Lupe or getting any information from Carmelo. Jessica became withdrawn and cold. He thought she was jealous not knowing that she was suffering from quilt.
Catalina and Gustavo left to see Alicia and to discuss the suspicion of Carmelo kidnapping Lupe for the inheritance. At Alicias, Eduardo that was waiting for his friend outside told the Negretes not to disrupt the beautiful moment for the lovebirds but Catalina thought he was playing his pranks again so they went in and saw Luis proposing marriage to Alicia over candlelight dinner. They apologised and later told Alicia their suspicion.
Miss Antoniete told Antonio that Carmelo is suspected of kidnapping Lupe. He told him about Emilia and her story that two bodyguards were guarding Carmelo's apartment in Mexico. He said that he wanted him to help find Lupe. Antonio then went out to look for Emilia to confirm the story. Meanwhile Emilia went to plead with Romero not to tell Sebastian that he caught her in bed with Marcelo as she is doing it to help Sebastian. She told him that she suspects that Carmelo is hiding Lupe and by sleeping with his accomplice, Marcelo, she will get the secret. What an excuse!
Carmelo being told Catalina was out, rushed to Sebastian's place in a jealous rage to fight him. Not finding her there rushed to Alicia and overheard them discussing their suspicion of his kidnap and hiding of Lupe in the attic. He then decided to move Lupe again. He rough handled Catalina and accused her of cheating on him with Sebastian. Gustavo tried stopping his aggression and got a blow to the eye for his effort.
Emilia left Marcelo saying she can never be her woman but Sebastians. Antonio finally saw her but before he could talk, she rudely said that the rumour was true that Miss Antoniete got herself a young lover. But Antonio denied that rumour and told Emilia that he is Miss Antonite's son. Trust Emilia, she guickly started spreading the information in the town. While Miss Antoniete and Antonio were leaving for the city, the town folks were looking at her scornfully, she decided to stop at the town square to announce to everyone that 'Antonio is my son'.
Marcelo after trying unsuccessfully to woo Emilia, left for the city after telling Panchito that Carmelo bought him the car. Panchito wondered why Carmelo will buy him a car when normally, he is not a generous person. Back in the city, he came to see Carmelo in the penthouse. Catalina wanted to know if its true that Carmelo kidnapped Lupe but Marcelo dismissed such allegation and warned her to be careful not to upset her husband. Carmelo came and took him to the room for discussion.

Catalina suspecting Carmelo

Romero was at the Cantina talking to Antonio about his new boss and advised him to be careful. Antonio got home and confronted Miss Antoniete with all the accusations. She told him that he is her son and Lupe is his father. Antonio left more confused and bewildered. Meanwhile Petra and Rufina were talking about them and concluded that Miss Antoniete would not be told the truth in order for peace to reign.

The nurse and Lupe started getting along and she told him that Catalina married Carmelo without loving him. When Carmelo rushed out and did not allow Catalina in, Lupe suspected that she did not know that he was there. He now started thinking how to contact Catalina so that he can escape.

Sebastian called Romero to come back to Mexico for the charity concert. He promised coming but first had to check Marcelo's apartment for Lupe. Emilia went to see Marcelo and decided to satisfy the burning passion in her. Romero drove there entered the bedroom where he caught them in the act. He was shocked to see Emilia in that compromising situation but told her she can continue but she pleaded that Sebastian should not be told. Romero left and called to inform Sebastian that Lupe is not in Marcelo's place.

Gustavo asked Catalina to rebuild her life and be careful of Carmelo since its being suspected that he's hiding something in the room upstairs that could affect her. She thinks so too but does not want to betray Carmelo by saying anything and Gustavo told her he does not desrve her trust. Gustavo left with Adela and Luisa for the recording of the interview of the Boom Boys for the charity concert. At the TV station, Adela took over the interview to the extent that the boys could not answer any question. The station manager agreed with Luisa that Adela should be allowed to exhaust herself before the actual interview with the boys can commenced.

Sebastian came to see Catalina to help in finding Lupe. He told her that Lupe is alive but kidnapped by Carmelo. In the process, he wanted to know if she is willing to be is lover as claimed by Carmelo. She pleaded with him to leave to avoid problems. Carmelo came in and was opening the door when one of the bodyguards called him to see Lupe. Lupe wanted a photograph of his children and this drew the anger of Carmelo who accused him of loving others and not him and he threatened to kill him if he's tired. Sebastian left the penthouse after kissing Catalina and one of the bodyguards saw him.

Miss Antoniete bought a truck for Antonio. He accepted it because he needs a vehicle to go back to his town to see his parents. Wakina confirmed Miss Antoniete's confession that he's her son .

Jessica went to see Carmelo and they discussed their evil intention. When she got back, she became really nervous and scared after the meeting. She was really behaving strangely.

Catalina and Gustavo discussing the information brought by Sebastian that Lupe is alive and being held captive by Carmelo. They suspected that Carmelo is hiding him in the room upstairs and that's why he does not want anyone to go there.

Suspicion heightened

Carmelo opened the door and dragged Catalina back to the penthouse and warned that no one goes up there without his permission.
Marcelo took the new car to show off in the town. He went looking for Emilia and saw her with Miss Antoniete.
Sebastian is trying to forget Catalina and trying it with Jessica. Emilia lost out of the love game. Sebastian also implore Jeesica to use her access to Carmelo to find out the truth or where the father is being hidden. But Jessica quickly said no that she does not want to associate with Carmelo again.
Martina tried making up with Romero and he is resisting her. Luisa called Martina and she complained to her that Romero was still angry and jealous over Frankie. Luisa advised her to make Romero talk to with him again. Catalina came in and they started discussing Carmelo and his constant fit of anger. Adela came looking for Carmelo and saw him in the sitting room and asked for money to entertain the Boom Boys who are coming for dinner. Gustavo came back from work and overheard when Carmelo was accusing Catalina of lack of love for him and Adela accusing him of jealousy, he interrupted and said that Catalina loves only honest, upright and kind man.
The Boom Boys came to see the Negretes. Adela prepared a meal they cannot eat so Catalina and the maid offered to prepare mexican foods which they relished. At that moment, Jessica called and Carmelo left to see her. Carmelo revealed that Lupe is with him out of his free will. Jessica tried extricating herself but was told she is an accomplice.
Sebastian and Martina observed that Jessica is worried. Romero went to check the former apartment and came back to inform them that the apartment is empty. Suspecting that Lupe may be moved to Marcelo's place in the ranch ( Marcelo is in town to show off his new car), Romero decided to go back to investigate.
Miss Antoniete and Josefa accompanied by Antonio left the town for Mexico city. Antonio wanted to know if the rumour making the round in the town is true that Miss Antoniete wanted a young lover but she answered that everything will be revealed later in Mexico.
The Boom Boys consulted their manager on the request by Adela that they do a concert for the less priviledged and the manager agreed to it. Kiki arranged for them to be interviewed and Adela prepared to feature on the television with them. Frankie in his excitement called Martina and invited her to the charity concert.
Catalina informed the father about Carmelo's strange behaviour and her suspicion. They decided to inform the police the next day.

Closer to - - -

Carmelo still holding the door to prevent Sebastian and Romero from entering the apartment, told them Lupe is dead. But the duo persisted and forced themselves into the apartment and went straight to the bedroom. The nurse suspecting that the duo may overpower Carmelo at the door, quickly dragged the drugged and unconscious Lupe into the closet with herself. When they searched everwhere without seeing Lupe, they left. Afterwards, the bodyguards and Marcelo came back from putting the boxes and other things into the truck.

Meanwhile Catalina and Luisa were cleaning the room that Lupe would be transferred to. Luisa insinuated that Catalina may end up being locked there .

At the gym, Adela went to see Ricardo and Silvia asked her to stay away that she was not welcomed but she insisted on staying to talk to her son and even said that she might register at the gym. Ricardo intervened and the matter became worse. Eduardo and Luis stayed back to watch the scene. While Eduardo pitied Silvia, Luis said that she asked for it.

Back at home Romero and Sebastian are convinced that Carmelo and Marcelo have something to do with Lupe's disappearance. Jessica hurried to see Carmelo at the penthouse but he was not there so she left her card with Catalina. Lupe was moved to the attic. Carmelo warned that no one should go to that room because he is keeping important documents there. He was given Jessica's card so he called her. Martina picked the call and Jessica lied to them that her grandfather, Chuchu, asked her to handle some legal matter for Carmelo. Carmelo warned Jessica not to talk about the forged will or she will be implicated too. He told her that Lupe was not dead but held captive by him. She was so shocked that when she got home, she was withdrawn and forlorn
Antonio wanted to know why Miss Antoniete brought him to come and replaced the old but efficient former foreman. She then confronted her and asked for explanation.
Father Dimitris finally asked Petra to confess to Miss Antoniete that Antonio is not her son but Carmelo. Petra said she would at the appropriate time.
Carmelo is forcing Catalina to be a wife through and through by forcing to kiss her but she pushed him away. She reminded him of the deal but he said that he had every right to her affection. Adela separated their quarell but Carmelo's suggestion that they marry in the church started the disagreement again. Gustavo came in to defend Catalina.
Luis wants to marry Alicia but Eduardo is discouraging him. At Alicia's, she is thinking of proposing marriage to Luis.
Lupe became very sick and the nurse wanted a doctor to come and see him but the risk of exposure is very high so Carmelo rejected that suggestion. While at it, Catalina came up to look for her bracelet and was opening the door.

The Search begins

Alicia told Gustavo how Catalina was forced to be in the same places as Sebastian during their honeymoon. He vowed to defend Catalina against the monster of a husband.
Carmelo called Marcelo to give him the news of a new car. He asked him to come back to Mexico because he has to move Guadalupe again.
Sebastian and Martina went to see Chuchu on their way back to Mexico to search for Lupe. Jessica came in and Chuchu did not want her to be part of the discussion because he did not trust her but Sebastian waved off his objection and welcomed the traitor into the discussion. She was told of their suspicion and she promised going with them for the search as a friend and a lawyer. She offered their apartment for them to satay while at Mexico.
Antonio was a hardworking, amiable and efficient foreman. He quickly settle in and became friendly with the town folks especially Panchito.
Back in Mexico, Carmelo took his accomplice to the car dealer and bought him a red sport car. The search party arrived the city and went to the apartment. Outside, Marcelo was admiring the new car so Sebastian and Jessica approached them while Romero and Martina took the back door into the house. At the apartment's door, they saw bodyguards who refused them entrance. Because of the commotion, the nurse came out and Romero insisted on going in but the bodyguards threw them out not before collecting the spare key from him.
Adela went for her usual business Lunch and told them she would get the Boom Boys to play at the charity. Her friend decided to give her the benefit of doubt. A new maid was employed
On meeting them outside his apartment, Carmelo said the meeting rather be coincidental and not planned by Catalina to see her lover Sebastian because she would be hard on her. Sebastian stood up for Catalina and that made Carmelo angry till they got to the penthouse. His aggression and yelling brought Gustavo out and he stood up for Catalina. When the family defended Catalin, he stomped out and on the way instructed them to clean up the attic.
Carmelo was in the apartment to get Lupe ready to be moved again. He warned Lupe to behave or be silenced for ever. The nurse injected Lupe while the bodyguards and Marcelo took the boxes to the van. At that moment, Sebastian and Romero knocked and he opened. But he blocked them while Sebastian startin shouting father to get Lupe's attention but he was sedated and the drug has started taking effect and the nurse shut his mouth with her hands.

Lupe is alive

The Negrete's family came down hard on Carmelo and he almost revealed what was going on but further enquiry from Adela made him realised that they did not know anything about Lupe being alive. Sebastian dragged Martina to Romero's house. Romero informed them of the possibilities of Lupe's living and being hidden in Carmelo's apartment in Mexico. Romero did not feel any affection towards Martina and she felt so uncomfortable in his presence. Later they left to find out anything that can lead them to Lupe. Martina felt bad that no one cares about her feelings. Jessica came to see Sebastian and when told he was not around just turned and left without asking how Martina feels. She was sad. Meanwhile Romero was looking at their photographs together and claimed Martina was still in love with the Boom Boys because she listened to their music always. Martina told Rufina that they suspect that their father is alive. Rufina had suspected that too since Lupe's body was not found but felt really sad and worried about Carmelo. She believed he had suffered so much being a tormented soul.
Miss Antoniete warned Josefa not to become familiar with the new foreman. She further told her that the new foreman is coming to live in the big house and not live in the Foreman's quaters.
Emilia met up with Sebastian in the town and started pledging her undying love for him. Sebastian told her she would always be a good friend. On sighting Jessica approaching, she asked Sebastian to kiss her goodbye and he felt for the bait. Jessica saw them kissing and turned back in anger while Emilia was smiling with victory. Sebastian was shocked at such passionate kiss that he pulled away but did not see Jessica.
When her daughters confronted her that Lupe may be alive and all of Carmelo's inheritance may be taken from him, Adela went berseck just thinking her goldmine could be gone.
Antonio arrived Santa Cruz and met Sebastian and Martina in the town square. They directed him to Miss Antoniete Ranch and gave him a run-down on his new boss. The guy became the town's gossip as the young lover of Antoniete. In the house, he was welcomed warmly but he rejected the room at the big house and decided to stay in the workers' quarters. He told Antoniete that he's always been treated specially by all and he believes it has to do with his parents stay at the ranch years ago.
At the penthouse, Carmelo promised buying a car for the wife but she was not interested. Adela tried making Catalina change her attitude and be nice for once to Carmelo but she answered her with an angry stare.

Miss Antoniete' son

Miss Antoniete set out to search for her son abandoned several years ago. She visited a family that used to work for her before relocating to another town. The family was shocked seeing her after several years. The youngest of the family was Antonio, her supposed son. The family told Miss Antoniete that they took care of the boy and gave him the best education they could afford. In fact the boy is enrolled in the Military which is the preserve of the affluent. After the introduction, Antonio was asked to leave while they discussed. Miss Antoniete told Wakina and Margarita, the real parents of Antonio ( Petra confessed to her Friends- in- secret that she did not switched the babies) that she has come for her 'son' to make up for the years of abandonment. Is it not too late? Wakina and Margarita were of the opinion that the status quo should remain but Miss Antoniette would not hear of it. While arguing, Antonio came in and overheard her telling his parents that she would tell the boy if they refused to tell him. Antonio then demanded an explanation. The parents told him that they owe Miss Antoniete so he has to go and work for her in Santa Cruz.
The three friends-in-secret met to review events since the disappearance of Lupe and Carmelo's sudden rise to fame. Petra gave the farm workers their son but lied to them that the boy was Miss Antoniete. While Josepha is of the view that telling Antoniete the truth that her son is Carmelo and not Antonio will save everyone from the looming crisis, Petra and Ruffy were against it. At the end of it, agreement was reached that no one will reveal the truth to Antoniete.
At last Sebastian told Martina that her father, Lupe may still be alive and they are going to look for him. Martina agreed that she will go with them to search for her father in the city. They went to see Ruffi and informed her that they will be going to Mexico. Emilia came and tried convincing Sebastian to forget Catalina and give her a chance to love him. Meanwhile,Carmelo went back back to the house to inform his accomplice that Emilia knows Lupe is alive and spreading the rumours in town.
Marcelo went out for a party so Carmelo had to stay with Lupe. He went in to see Lupe and started soliloquising about his love for Lupe and his rejection of his love. Lupe woke up and reminded him the upteenth time that he is not his father. He even advised him to get psychriatic help. Carmelo got angry and rough handled him.
He left for the penthouse and on entering, he was confronted by Catalina, Adela and Luisa on the rumour by Emilia of Lupe and the inheritance. He became scared thinking they knew about the kidnap

The honeymoon ended

After the talk with Eduardo, Silvia went to the Penthouse to invite Ricardo to come and live with her indefinitely. What a shame! It's desperate women like Silvia that make men feel so important even when they don't have anything to offer. Trust Adela, she was up to her antics and stories of love but Silvia cut her off and told her she is proposing to live with Ricardo and not his family.
Romero came to inform Sebastian of their suspicion and why they have to leave to commence thorough investigation of Lupe's disappearance. The Boom Boys were leaving too and bid farewell to the girls. Unfortunately, Romero saw Frankie kissing Martina and became jealous and angry. Frankie talked to explaining that they are just friends. Afterwards, they all left the hotel back to the town. As soon as they left, Carmelo too hurried his 'wife' and sister-in-law to leave too. Of course, the supposed 'audience' for his stupid shows or drama of love had left so he had to leave too.
Emilia was back too in town to report her findings to Miss Antoniette. Miss Antoniette thinks the bodyguards are just to show off and not hired to protect anything. But Emilia thinks otherwise and that is the truth. Emilia came to see Sebastian but he told her to leave him alone. But Emilia accused Jessica of only flirting with him while she is deeply in love with him. Well, Sebastian said that he preferred Jessica's friendship. In anger, Emilia left and in town, was told that the couple, Carmelo and Catalina were around, she decided to go bother them.
Carmelo dare not take his wife to the mansion so they checked into the hotel. Emilia found Catalina and before she could finish her meddling, Catalina told her the truth that is obvious to everyone that Sebastian still loves her and cannot love another. It was then Emilia suspected that the reason Catalina married Carmelo had to do with Sebastian and she would get to the bottom of it.
Miss Antoniette can no longer stand the torment and torture of abandoning her son anymore so she is set to look for him as advised by Father Dimitris. Isn't it too late?
Carmelo went to visit the popular joint, the Cantina. He went to brag about his new found wealth but got a cold reception. Even Seferino poured the drink on the table and told him he is not welcomed anymore. Carmelo being who he is was trying to force respect instead of earning it from the town folks but they all treated him with disdain. Since he did not want to leave, the town folks walked out of the cantina and left him alone. After enduring the humiliation he left and went straight to make a phone call to the city. A decision to kill Lupe is finally taken by Carmelo. Will he go ahead with this or not when he gets back to Mexico?
Lupe is still pleading with Marcelo to help him escape but he refused and instead warned him to desist from such plan as that could lead to his death.
