Andre courting Angela

Day 5

Isabel called Simon and advised him not to tell anyone what he saw if he does not want her to inform Pedro that he sneaked up to watch her bathing. In the factory Andre called him and offered to increase his salary just to ensure that he does squeal on them. Simon is much more responsible than that so he rejected all offers and told him what they do was not his concern. Nina started her squabble again so Isabel shut her up and she became annoyed and rushed out and Azur started barking at her. She went into the kitchen, poisoned a chunk of raw meat and took it to Azur. But trust the dog, it did not eat it. Having done that, she was very confident that Azur would die. When she went to Valeria's room, she observed that Azur was very quiet so Nina proudly says, Azur would no longer disturb them forever. How wrong she was.
Isabel went to see Andre and in her jealous fit, slapped Andre for inviting Angela home. Andre seized the opportunity to convince her to hasten Pedro's death by giving her a bottle of poison.
Antonio met with the father at the bar as usual. Rodrigo, the poet, Abigail's husband was still living in illusion disregarding the reality surrounding him. What a pity.
Pedro strategizing for Angela to marry Andre. He was confiding in his wife, Isabel. Poor him, Isabel laughed him to scorn in her mind.
Simon was caught in the shack with Nora, the maid by Nina, the drama queen. She rushed to report them to Pedro and Isabel with Abigail in tears before them and asked that the boy be sent packing. Pedro refused and told her it was not her business and asked what she was by the way doing at the shack at that hour. Pedro calmed Abigail and went to talk with Simon about his attitude. He advised him to start thinking with his head and put his energy into something more productive. The young man was so grateful and thanked Pedro for his advice.
Gayetana came to see Pedro and met Isabel in the sitting area. She told Isabel that she was a woman of decision. ( how correct can anyone be) Pedro heard and called her up to the study. He warned her to respect his wife and not abuse the priviledge granted her.
Andre came for dinner and then sought Pedro's permission to court Angela. Pedro gave his approvalto court hoping it would lead to marriage. Angela and Isabel reconciledand Isabel congratulated her but Angela denied any commitment claiming they are only friends. Nina saw the pains in her daughters eyes and told her she cannot hide her true feelings because she knows her like the palm of her hand. Angela and Andre spent time together and Isabel became jealous and threatened that she brought out the poison to be used on Pedro. Angela really had to stop Andre from going all the way so he left while she went to look for Antonio by the tree. The jealous and restless Isabel came out and saw them kissing so she went in calmer.
