Jealous Romiro

Nowadays, Romiro cannot contain his jealousy and insecurity so Martina broke up with him. Catalina has finally informed her family that she is marrying Carmelo without love and this worries Gustavo, Luisa and Alicia so much. Luisa asked her not to sacrifice herself again that their father is going to get an apartment for them to live. Later she told her she is doing it for Sebastian but she should not tell anyone especially Gustavo.
To help Romiro win back Martina a serenade was suggested and Sebastian says he would ask for a special number for the spiteful Catalina who marries for money and not love.
Carmelo and Marcelo argued about who takes care of the sick Lupe and it degenerated into threats. He informed his accomplice that he cannot kill Lupe because Petra confirmed that he is Lupe's son. Later, it was resolved that a nurse be employed to care of him.
Carmelo went to see the Negretes for the wedding plans and shopping. In the process of Catalina and Carmelo's arguement, Adela overheard the deal and decided that a cruise for the honeymoon will do and no one will suspect that they are not a couple afterall.
Ricardo came in when the two girls were talking about the boom boys and after annoying Martina went to see Adela. Adela was busy looking for a mansion to buy. She was not interested or concerned about Catalina's unhappiness. She did not celebrate Ricardo as usual and warned him that she does not want to see Silvia.
Carmelo came with flowers to invite Catalina out for dinner. Sebastian and others came in too so Carmelo taunted him that he has taken everything from him especially the love of his life Catalina. He told him that on his wedding date, he will hand over the Ranch to him courtesy Jessica who came to plead on his behalf. He also proposed to buy the penthouse from him so that he can have money to run the ranch. Martina asked Sebastian to accept and let them go back to the Ranch. When Carmelo continued provoking Sebastian, Catalina shouted him down and they went out but at the lift she warned him never to touch her again because that was the deal. As they were arguing, Sebastian came out and Carmelo grapped and kissed Catalina. Sebastian asked how much the kiss cost and got a slap from Catalina. She left Carmelo waiting at the lift and came back but not before he warned him that he would get one if he does not honour their agreement. The boom boys came and tried cheering her up but she became the more depressed. Josefa and Petra were back in their town. They went to Romiro's and were warmly received.
Petra at last told Ruffina that Carmelo is Antoniete and Lupe's son. Rufina felt sorry for Carmelo. It was because of the rejection by both parent that made Petra to keep silent all this while about his paternity.
What an irony. The father that denied his conception was the one that took care of him till adulthood.
Adela came in and warned them not to associate with the idle musicians but when her daughters pointed out that the guys are famous and could be rich, she quickly came back to sell Luisa off. Trust Adela.
Romiro came back with the serenade but met the boys singing to the ladies so he became angry and ordered a sad song instead. Even when Sebastian tried cautioning him, he refused and damn everyone.
Lupe remembered who he is and demanded to be taken to his children immediately but Marcelo hit him on the head with a bottle and he passed out.
