Concert proper

As usual, Antoniete is arguing with Carmelo on the disappearance of Lupe. Carmelo advised her to get off his case. He also told her that she is the last person to pester him about Guadalupe since she hated him and was always happy at his misfortune. Well Carmelo is wrong. Antoinete may be pretending that she hates Lupe but deep down that love is still alive. The only thing is that it hurts her deeply that her wayward friend was preferred to her. Women hardly forgives rejection. Antoniete was trying to blackmail Carmelo in order to force the truth out of him or to get his cooperation but none was forth coming from Carmelo. Carmelo being smart himself told her if she knew the truth that the babies were not swapped at birth that she would have spoken. Antoniette still insisted that the swapping of the babies never happened and he may not be Lupe's son. He stubbornly claimed he is the bastard son of Lupe and that is why he was acknowledged in the will and all the inheritance given to him.
Meanwhile Josefa went to see Catalina and got the address to go see Petra. When confronted on her first visit to the Negretes, she denied being a spy for anyone. This is true. She was there for a purpose and that was accomplished.
Gustavo left worrying about his family and finally went to work leaving Petra alone. There was a knock and it was Josefa. Petra was shocked seeing her because she knows why she came. Not known for wasting time, she went straight to the point asking her to confess if she really swapped the babies. Petra keeps saying her conscience is not alowing her to talk ans she is resentful of the service she did for Antoniete. After much persuasion, she answered that Carmelo had nothing to do with the babies but he is Antoniete's son. At that Josefa fainted. Luis and Eduardo came in then to help take her to the hospital. At the hospital, the doctor diagnosed mild stroke but confirmed she was out of danger. Luckily, her lack of medical insurance was taken care of by Eduardo. He promised listing her as one of thier workers at the gym so the corporate insurance can cover her. Poor Josefa, was told she does not have a relative.
Carmelo rushed to Marcelo's place to take Lupe back to Mexico. H e complained about the injections and the effect on Lupe's health. The cynical Marcelo advised him to take Lupe to a mental home so that they all can be free from the self inflicted burden.
The loverboy finished exercising and left to call Adela. Patricia then tried talking her friend out of this web of deceit by Ricardo but she is adamant. She says Ricardo is keeping her company. She even wants to go for more surgery to make her younger like Catalina for her Eduardo. There is no giving up.
The Concert was a huge success with the ticket sold out and the arena filled to capacity. Severally, Catalina had to stop Luisa from rushing on stage when the boys were performing. The whole fans were screaming and some were singing along just enjoying the moment. But Romero was not thrilled because Martina seems to be too interested in the music and the boys than him. At the dressing room, Sebastian came in introducing himself to the boom boys. Catalina, Luisa and Alicia were already there. On Sebastian's insistence, Catalina went out for a talk with him. Jessica sensing that reconciliation may take place before she achieved her ambition of marrying Sebastian rushed and told him that Catalina is marrying Carmelo. Oh what a blow that was to Sebastian who wanted to get back to Catalina!.
Gustavo was arguing with Adela about her attitude which has ruined Catalinas life and warned her not to ruin Luisa's too. While arguing, the phone rang and it was Ricardo. He just left Silvia and Patricia to come tell Adela that he has been accepted by Silvia and they are going out later. The cheek of a mother was advising him to choose a very expensive restaurant. When he hung up, she decided to invite herself to the dinner. Silvia threw her out and Ricardo sided his lover.
After talking to his granddaughter, Chuchu realised that she is lying to him on the the content of the Will.
