Alvaro, the old lawyer confirmed that the man in the photograph was the sick man he saw in Carmelo's apartment in Mexico. The only snag was that he was not 100% sure since it was late and he did not pay so much attention to the man.With that statement, their suspicion that Carmelo had a lot to do with Lupe's disappearance was confirmed. It was decided that Romero should inform Sebastian immediately so a search of Carmelo's apartment can commence. Apart from Sebastian, no other person was to know in order not to jeopardise their investigation. Romero was to go to the Hotel to inform the Sebastian alone of their finding.
Back in Carmelo's apartment in Mexico, Lupe was planning on how to escape. The nurse came out and warned him that the bodyguards were outside to stop him. She went furthet to advice him not to contemplate jumping as the apartment was so high that jumping would be suicidal.
Marcelo went to see Emilia but met her abscence. Emilia went back to Santa Cruz to inform Miss Antoniete about her suspicion. Miss Antoniete dismissed her suspicion saying she needed concrete evidence that Carmelo kidnapped or hid Lupe somewhere. Emilia was disappointed but vow to go on to unravel the mystery about Lupe's purported death and Carmelo's new security arrangement.
Back at the Hotel, Sebastian agreed to play pool ball with Carmelo after being persuaded by the Boom Boys but they ended up fighting. He accused Catalina and Luisa of ganging up with Carmelo to come to the hotel to annoy him. He refused to listen to their excuses that they were not aware of Carmelo's plan. When Martina advised that they should leave, he said he was not going to give them that pleasure of seeing his exit.
The Boom Boys left and really enjoyed the moment. They were taking photographs with everyone and singing to entertain their fans and admirers. It was a real swell time to commemorate their stay at the hotel.
Rufina and Petra went to see Father Dimitris . Their mission this time was for his intervention in excluding their friend, Josefa from working now that she is sick. The father promised talking to Miss Antoniete. Outside, Ruffie left and Petra was on her way when Miss Antoniete grapped and dragged her back into the church. Before the altar, she forced her to swear that the babies were not switched. When Petra showed relunctance, she manhandled him to the extent that she became scared and told her that neither Sebastian nor Carmelo was her son. Luckily for Petra, Father Dimitris came to the altar to find out what was happening so Miss antoniete had to release her grip on her. She quickly composed herself and told the father to take care of Miss Antoniete who was an emotional wreck at that moment.
Ricardo confessed to Adela that Silvia is still in love with Eduardo despite everyhing tha he had done to make her forget him.
During their talk, Silvia threatened suicide if Eduardo does not come back to her. Maybe she was expecting 'a yes i will come back please donnt kill yourself' answer but she was wrong cos Eduardo ignored the threat and told her to do whatever she wanted. She then decided to go look for Ricardo since she does not want to be alone.
In the hotel room, Catalina and Carmelo were arguing again and she became sick. Carmelo was worried about her. He really loves her but unfortunately she does not love him.
