Romina is pregnant

  Romina and Aaron still plan to separate Paloma and Emiliano. Camila tries to patch things up with her daughter but to no avail.
After the death of Macarena, Paloma spends days in mourning for the Aunt that loves her so much and was willing to sacrifice all for her. She reminisces the times with her as an Aunt and as her mother but the wicked  Carlota tells her that it’s time to go back to school and that life must go on. Of course life must go on for Carlota with the huge interest that Paloma's inheritance was generating for her which no other person knows except lawyer Rojas. But when she remembers overhearing Rufina talk about the papers Carmen gave to her late sister that might incriminate her, she became worried. She started searching and turning  Macarena’s room upside-down not knowing the papers were inside a drawer in the sitting room. When Paloma sees how unsettled her Aunt is in finding out these so called important documents, she innocently retrieves the papers from the drawers and gives to Carlota. If only she knew what the papers contains she wouldn't have given it to Carlota. Trust Carlota, she immediately burnt them. Rufina suspecting something retrieves the papers so all was not burnt. She took the papers to Doctor Bermudez who is now a close friend to Paloma and herself. The Doctor now decides to use all of his power and influence to get to the bottom of the issue and finds out what Carlota is hiding about Paloma’s inheritance. Paloma goes back to school while Mother Superior returns Paloma’s money because her scholarship has been reinstated. Paloma plans to use the money to retrieve Macarena’s necklace that she sold in the pawnshop but it was too late. Rafael bought the necklace and has given it to Camila as a gift.
Roberto informs Samuel that Romina and Camila came  to see him and thinks Camila is interested in him again. The lazy Samuel was happy but when told, Camila came with a man was surprised because he thought she is still waiting for him.
 After Macarena’s death, Paloma turns away from God while Emiliano tries to convince her to return to her faith. Emiliano proposes to Paloma who then accepts it and agrees they keep it a secret.   Romina gets shocked as she sees her mother and Rafael kissing. Meanwhile, Carlota authorizes Emiliano to visit Paloma and goes to see Doctor Bermudez to demand he stops interfering with their lives or she’ll press charges. Romina allies herself with Carlota
 Orlando finds out that Gudelia is Emiliano’s mother  as he sees her portrait when he went with Emiliano to his Parents house, he now suspects that Emiliano is his son. So he started stalking her and confronted her with it but she denied. She went to Rafael to lie about Orlando and his reputation.
Romina taking Diana's advice asked Paloma to convince her Aunt to let her stay in their house. Romina also met with Carlota to let her in and she would be a very good ally in her scheme to separate Paloma and Emiliano. Carlota accepts the arrangement so when Paloma requested for a place for Romina, Carlota agreed. Rufina and Paloma were surprised at her quick acceptance and are intrigued with the kindness Carlota shows to Romina but Carlota says she is doing it for Paloma and her happiness.
Camila returns Macarena’s necklace to Paloma and feels relieved to hear that Romina is staying with her.
Carlota tries again to seduce Cristobal but yet he rejects her again. Father Mateo advises Cristobal to avoid Carlota while Rufina
Lawyer Rojas tells German not to give anyone any information regarding Paloma’s inheritance as he is proceeding on his annual leave.

Romina has been feeling under the weather so she goes to see a doctor to have some tests done. Shockingly, she  finds out that she is pregnant. Romina insists on taking the lab test again so she finds out that she really is pregnant. She tells Aaron about her pregnancy and asks him to accompany her to Mexico City to have an abortion. In Mexico the doctor refuses to abort Romina’s baby. Outside, Aaron suggests that Romina tells Emiliano that the baby is his to tie him to her forever.
Diana finally comes clean about Emiliano's paternity and tells Rafael that Orlando is Emiliano’s father. In anger and based on all the negative things Diana said about Orlando, Rafael speaks ill of him in front of Camila. Camila on the other hand receives a card from her ex-husband Samuel and she's not happy with it.
German meets Erick and tells him that Liliana is his sweetheart.  I wonder who he truly loves between Romina and Liliana.
Carlota not willing to give up, visits the clinic to looks for Cristobal.
Romina convinces Emiliano that the baby she’s carrying is his and he agrees to take care of her and his baby vows to help her get through it. With Romina being pregnant, Carlota informs Emiliano to stay clear and not court Paloma anymore. Orlando sees how paternity test works on the Internet so he decides to find out the real father of  Emiliano using the test he just discovered. He now tells Cristobal that he already found Gudelia and his son who turned out to be Emiliano.
Romina tells Camila that she is pregnant. Camila shocked still assures her that she’ll stand by her side. Orlando is not happy the way Camila gives in to the whims and caprices of Romina. 
Carlota very thrilled about the news of Romina's pregnancy, tells Paloma and also informs her that Emiliano is the father of the baby. Paloma was sad, very sad so she goes to see Romina to confirm it
