Paloma's Inheritance Revealed

Rafael notices that Camila is sad but she corrected that its not about the wedding but about Romina finally finding out about her treacherous father. She tells him about Diana and Samuel and Rafael is surprised.

German started his defense by calling Natalia to the witness stand. German first question to Natalia is why she didn't marry Cristobal when they were supposed to. Natalia tells how it wasn't meant for them to be together and Cristobal was not with the church then. German then brings up the constant visits of Cristobal to her house. Natalia confirms this. Eugenio and Madeline are far back watching the proceedings.

German leaves and the prosecutor takes his turn. The crowd is growing restless and the Judge quiets them.

Prosecutor wants to know why Cristobal visit her in her house alone and Natalia tells them about Paloma's inheritance they were investigating. She explains that Dr. Bermudez, Alonzo and Rufina are part of the team. German jumps up in protest and objects to this line of questioning but the judge over rules him and asked the prosecutor to carry on. Natalia tells the audience about Inaki and how he was going to marry Paloma but he died before the wedding. She explains how Inaki suspected Carlota and the inheritance Paloma was supposed to receive from Sagario and Javier. So when he died, they continued to meet and Alonzo after accepting the son's death and coming to know Paloma better joins.

There was uproar in the courthouse and the Judge angrily pounds his gavel demanding silence. The prosecutor surprised by this revelation, asked the judge for justice sake to invite Carlota for questioning. Paloma jumps up in shock too. The judge over rules German arguement and agrees with the Prosecutor that Carlota be invited for questioning the next day. German sits for a moment in shock even when the court was over while Paloma was questioning why her Aunt should be invited.Shes upset but remembers her conversation with Romina after Inaki's death where Romina suspected Carlota of killing Inaki. Gabriel asks if she suspected any foul play and she said no. At this point, Emiliano comes up to speak to her about Inaki and Paloma wonders why he or anybody never told her anything.

Camila and Romina went to see the baby and holding him for the first time, she's overwhelmed with emotion and cried. She tells Camila how small he is but Camila says yes he is precious. When the nurse tells them how Emiliano and Paloma visits have helped the baby, Romina is jealous.

Rafael and Luz talking about the little girl but Rafael warns her it will be very difficult to locate the girl in the big town. Rafael secretary, Cynthia comes in and sees the picture so she tells them how the girl and other kids are victims of of people who exploit them and use them for street begging. Luz can't believe this and vowing to help the little girl, pleads with Rafael to help her in locating the girl. Joel comes in carrying Monica's son and Luz tries playing with the child.

Back to the court room Fr. Benito is on the stand and he tells the court how Cristobal helps people to overcome their drug or alcohol addictions. Cristobal's mother smiles proudly at hearing this and German asks why anyone would accuse a man like that of murder.
The prosecutor asks about the state Cris was in when he first meets him. Fr Benito flashback to when he found Cris drunk and how he encouraged hm to stop drinking. when pressed to speak more on Cris personal life, Fr Benito declined and said only Cris can answer that as he will not break his vow to keep someone's confessions a secret.

Eugenio visits Carlota and tells he is starting an investigation. She looks at Eugenio nervously while he studies her reaction. He then leaves. Paloma walks into the gloomy living room and is verbally attacked by Carlota. The phone rings and Rufina answers and its German who calls to tell her that the judge orders for her presence the next day. Carlota says she is not coming and German says its by force. Carlota drops the telephone and turn to Rufina and Paloma asking if they knew about her being called to court. Rufina says yes as it was made public. Rufina asks tauntingly if she needs anything and she says  no and walks away.

Rufi then turns to Paloma and she too says she does not need anything from her as she kept the inheritance investigation a secret. When Rufi sees how upset she's with her, she pleads for forgiveness. She says they needed to get proof before telling her and its not about trusting her but the only practical thing to do under the circumstance. Paloma accepts and forgives her.

Lilian visits Paloma and they were discussing relationships when Gabriel walks in to take Paloma out. Few seconds later,Emiliano enters with a bouquet of flowers to take her out too. Paloma gets angry that Emiliano is still carrying on as if she is his property and he has the right to decide for her so Gabriel leaves and goes outside to wait for them. After lambasting Emiliano, Paloma leaves with Gabriel for the cart race and Lilian has to console Emiliano.

German and Romina run into each other on the street and he tells her they should get back together because things are looking up for him. She starts to walk off and he grabs and kisses her. While still kissing Romina, he sees Carlota walking by so he pulls away and leaves. Romina does not like being rejected so she accuses him for being a coward.

Eugenio finds out that Madeleine Martelli called so he calls her up. They have been friends for years and its been awhile since they last talked. When he tells her that he’s in Real del Monte, she says me too and asks that they meet right away.

Carlota gets to the church dispensary where Ines and another church lady are working and she starts running down Fr Cristobal. The women were shocked at what she was saying.

Romina cries to Camila that Samuel, her father has robbed her, his daughter. She wants to confront him ad wants Camila to go with her and she agrees. They confront Samuel in the hotel lobby and by the time they were through with him, he's dazed.

Diana playing card with her new lover. Samuel. He lied to her that the business deal he was expecting is finally done and they need a property as a guarantee. Since he does not have a property, he needs a property owner to guarantee the loan. When Diana offers initially, he pretended to reject. Diana insists on helping him.

At the hospital, Emiliano is with the baby and the doctor tells him that she’s happy with the baby’s development and that he’s responding well to treatment.

Angelica invites Miriam so that together they can expose Dario as a fraud. She wants Dario to know that plagiarism is bad and he should respect other writers. Orlando is so proud of her for standing up against Dario and fighting for her right.

Back at the office, Emiliano in a depressed mood tells Orlando he's lost Paloma because she rejected him. Emiliano says “I just want to make her happy, Papa”. Orlando is so happy that Emiliano calls him papa and he points it out to Emiliano who didn’t realize he said it.

Madeleine tells Eugenio she’s worried about Cristobal, because he’s her son. Eugenio is surprised and she explains that she had him before she met her husband. She believes Cristobal is innocent and German is not experienced enough to handle the case. She is ready to stake her fortune to prove that her son is innocent and would want him to take over the case. Eugenio cautions her that he hasn’t practiced in years, but she’s certain that if his son was in this situation he’d do the impossible to save him. She begs him to defend Cristobal and he agrees. But Madeline asked him not to tell Cristobal.

Cristobal tells German that he’s worried about Paloma and wants to see her so he can tell her everything about his relationship with Macarena.

Back at the shop, Romina asks for forgiveness from Camila saying “I was so unfair with you. You’ve been the best mom in the world. You’re always going to be with me? You’re never going to leave me, right?”. Camila promises they are always going to be together especially with little Sammy to unite them.
From Camila's shop, Romina goes crying to Emiliano’s office to tell him about Sam robbing her. He reminds her about her mom's love. But she is worried that the men in her life do not love her, her father and Emiliano. He tries consoling her but takes advantage of the moment to kiss him. Emiliano's phone rings so he breaks off the kiss and apologise but Romina says this kiss could be a new start for them. Emiliano looks very uncomfortable and tells her once again he does not love her. Outside, Romina lets Angelica know she is not happy with her ruining her opportunity with Emiliano and their kiss.

Back at home from seeing German and bribing him, Carlota comes home and yells at Rufina for Paloma absence at home.

Back in Court
Everyone present except Paloma who comes late with Gabriel in tow. German tells her Cristobal will like to speak to her alone. Paloma does not want to see Cristobal because she is still angry. And German ask if she is sure?

Camila is walking down the street with packages and runs into Rafael and they talked about his business and her coming wedding. Rafael noticed she is not happy and asked but she quickly said her goodbye.

The Kiss for  Settlement or Manipulation?
In the prison yard, the troublemaker prisoners attack Cris again and Chucho goes to help. The guards break it up and tell Cris to go see his visitor, whether he wants to or not. His visitor is Carlota who comes to offer him another chance of accepting her and she will free him from prison. He says No and leaves.

Eric and Germán slugging it out on who is superior or more favoured in the office. German says he is jealous because Liliana still loves him but Eric tells him the relationship is off. 

Licenciado Cordero gets an envelop marked “Confidential” and “Regarding the Case of Fr. Cristóbal” he did not open it but  puts it aside to go through later. 

After the fight with Eric, Germán leaves to see Carlota at home. He interrogates Rufina about the family and value of the Mansion. Rufina hates him and wishes she can knock him out with a poisonous coffee but Carlota shows up so Rufina leaves.

Carlota tells German to destroy Cris but he wants to win the case in order to have prestige. Carlota tells him to forget that as he can gain prestige in other cases and she will pay him well. She tells him to find someone who will testify that he witnessed Alonso being run over by the truck and German in shock asked “How do you know he was run over by a truck?” Carlota says she heard from someone in the Town that it was a truck that ran over Alonso. German pretends to accept that.

She makes him sit down in front of her, and tells him to court Paloma. German is surprised considering how strict Carlota is with her niece. She proceeded to kiss him passionately and German responded too. (What a bunch. The two of them are sickos)

Paloma goes to show Gabriel the painting she’s been working on. He says it is amazing and tells her his coming to Real del Monte is not in vain as she is exactly what he’s been looking for. But Paloma did not understand him especially when he said "everything I have will be yours.” Just then Emiliano calls  to invite her to the hospital to visit  the baby. Gabriel is jealous.
Angélica hears when Emiliano called Paloma to come to the hospital with him but she is not happy at their closeness. Agreed the baby needs affection to thrive but it is not good for Emiliano and Paloma. He needs to leave her alone to avoid temptation and let her move on with her life.

One of Diana’s poker friends, also a friend of Camila, goes to her  shop and to confess to her that she is in big trouble, having lost a lot of money playing poker with Samuel.  Camila is shocked to hear that Samuel and Diana are still together after she had warned her. She and Mónica ahope the news about Samuel and Diana is not true. 

Carlota and German are still kissing in the study and his jacket is off and his shirt unbuttoned. But she got carried away and started asking if  Cristóbal loves her and then German stopped. Carlota too came back to her senses and drove German out.  She takes out her anger on the furniture, smashing everything and Rufina becomes alarmed. Afterwards, she stomps out and up the stairs. Rufina rushes into the office and is shocked at the sight.  “Carlota and Germán?!

In prison, Cris is telling  Orlando he wants to find a way to make Carlota confess to all the crimes shes committed but Orlando says everything will work out in the trial. He was given a letter to give to Natalia so he advises Cris to think seriously about starting a family since he is no longer a priest and Macarena is dead.

Paloma finishes the sketch she’s been working on and wants Gabriel to look at it but he says “Great; see you next class,” wthout looking at it. Paloma is worried at his attitude insisting he tell her what the matter is but he just walked away saying  “It’s not you, it’s me.”

Romina calls the furniture store for the delivery of her baby's furniture but is shocked when she is told no record of her order. 

Liliana finds Eric on the street and tells him she’s missed him terribly and wants to get back together. He says he loves her, but she doesn’t really love him. She says she does. He says unless she is absolutely sure, she should stay away from him. Liliana weeps.

Luz lets herself into Gabriel’s place and looks around. She sees the  sketch of a girl with bangs and braids and falls in love with it. she takes it and leaves that she has taken it..Meanwhile, Gabriel is out in the park. Sandra calls from her sickbed to ask why he went with Paloma to graduation but he mumbled sorry and hangs up. Romina walks up to him to flirt with him. Gabriel asks about her baby and when she started playing a bitch, Gabriel leaves. 

AT home, Paloma helps Rufina in the kitchen and she mentioned Paloma's father and she was upset and warned her never to mention that man again.   To distract, Rufina tells her about Carlota and Germán and how they locked themselves in the office for hours. How later German left in a hurry and Carlota was mad. Rufina thinks she would not come for Cris's trial and Carlota walks in saying yes and no one in the house should go too. But Paloma disagrees and Carlota warns that she’s going to hear some very ugly things about Cris and Natalia.

Germán visits Dr. Bermúdez and he tells him that himself and Emiliano doubt the baby’s paternity. Germán says they already did a test but Dr Bermudez says things just don’t add up and he wants to do another test. German refuses. 

Gabriel's dad visits and could sense something is wrong. Gabriel says he wants to finish up his work and skip town as soon as possible, because he is in love with Paloma. Eugenio is thrilled about that but Gabriel is not.  Eugenio says finding love is a blessing and he should just go with it. 

Chava gives Emiliano gifts for the baby, a tiny pair of soccer shoes and a little soccer ball as he goes to support Fr. Cris for all hes done for him. He hopes to help Emiliano's son someday too.

Orlando gives Natalia the letter from Cris. The letter simply aplogises for the mess and encourages her to have faith that God will soon intervenes and freedom will come to her.

At the hospital, Paloma is admiring the baby when Emiliano shows up with his friend Alejandro. The friend plays the recorder therapeutically for the baby and he seems to enjoy it. Paloma tells Emiliano he’s a super good dad and he tells her she’ll be a great mom someday. 

Germán fetches Cris for the trial. Cris hopes the facts will come to light and they will be vindicated.

Commencement of Fr. Cristobal and Natalia's trial

Orlando tries to reassure Natalia that everything will work out. Natalia asks him to get Ivonne to come to see her.

Paloma is at the hospital visiting the baby. Emiliano comes with Alejandro who plays the flute for the baby as recommended. Emiliano tells Paloma that babies react well when music is playing. Paloma tells him he would be a great dad and he regrets that she would be a great mum too considering the love she is showing the baby but it will be with another man not him.   
 Madeleine, drops off a box at the church that explains Fr. Cristobal's past. She explained why she left him in the first place to Fr Mateo.  She says though she was born here, most of her family lived in France. She spent a lot of time there studying dance. It was on one of her vacations in Mexico that she met Cristobal's dad. When she got pregnant, she had to have the baby but realised her career was important then so she had to leave him with his dad. Fr. Benito asks her if she knew that Cristobal's dad was an alcoholic and died of liver disease. She admits that she knew because she was always reading the Mexican papers with the hope of getting information about her son.

Camila goes to see Diana to warn her about Samuel. Diana does not want to listen. Camila leaves but is happy she tried warning her. She goes wedding dress shopping.



Cristobal and Natalia are being taken to the courthouse for the trial and the crowd is yelling outside.
 Inside the Court room are friends and family. The judge asks for their plea and both plead not guilty. The prosecutor calls Fr. Cristobal to the stand and interrogated him as follows . 
Pro: Is it true that 9 years ago you were engaged to be married to Natalia?
Cris: Yes
Pro: Then why did you decide not to marry her?
Cris: I didn't feel right taking the next step with her. I realized I did not love her the way she should have been loved.
Pro: Also because you felt guilty over a suicide.
P: Is it or isn't it true that you told Natalia you were feeling guilty over a death?
Cris: An emotional death. I believed that a woman had committed suicide because of me. For many years I felt guilty until I found out that it was a lie and she was still alive.
Pro: And who was that person?
Cris: I don't think it's really necessary for me to mention that person's name in this hearing. That person is now dead.
Pro: It is really important for you to tell us the name of that person.
Cris: That person was Macarena Espinosa de los Monteros. And the person who made me believe that she was dead for all those years was her sister, Carlota Espinosa de los Monteros.
Pro: Is it or isn't it true that you were going to leave Real de Monte with Macarena?
Cris: Yes. Macarena and I were going to leave to get married. Her family would not accept me. We both loved each other very much.

At this point Paloma becomes shocked. Rufina seeing what was going on tells Paloma that it is probably best they leave but Paloma refuses. She tells her she is finding out things that no one wanted to tell her. It's time to know the whole truth.

Carlota at home wishes she was at the trial. She wants everything to come out the way way she had planned.

Luz is walking around, buys an ice cream and buys one for a little girl. She asks the little girl what her name is. The mother of the little girl shows up and scowls her for talking to strangers.

After the day's proceeding, Paloma asks Rufina if she knew this. Rufina couldnt answer. Dr. Bermudez asks Rufina came if Cris was the man that Macarena talked about but replied that she should not be asked any questions. Outside, Paloma is crying. Emiliano comes to consoles as she seems confused. Emiliano says she should not have come but she says No, it' best she did. Gabriel walks Paloma home.

Rafael gets a call from a European company interested in his ceramics. He tells Luz the good news and wanted them to celebrate but she wants Rafael to help her find the little girl claiming she feels something special for the girl.

German asked Cristobal why he never told him about his relationship with Macarena. With all that secret coming out, his case is complicated.

Carlota wants to know what happened at the trial and when Paloma asks why she never told her that Cris and Macarena were in love, she says it was a delicate situation. But Paloma is thinking probably, Cris could be her father. Carloca seize the opportunity to continue lying that Macarena was already pregnant with her when she met Cris. She said Macarena was going to make Cris believe the pregnancy was his. Carlota said she told Macarena not to lie so their hatred started from then. She begged Paloma to Forgive her for not telling her the whole truth before. Paloma did and they hugged.

Romina crying because the furniture company tells her no order was received from her father. Emiliano comes home and she tells him that the father cashed the Cheque but never bought the baby furniture. Emiliano comforts her.

Dr. Bermudez was surprised about Cris being the love of Macarena's life. Ivonne says that when they were in love, he was not yet a priest. Dr. Bermudez says that Macarena confided in him that the man she loved had died but when Cris came to Real de Monte she never told him that he was. He thinks Cris may be Paloma's father but He vows to still protect Paloma like he promised Macarena.

Now Carlota is happy that her plans work and everyone will think bad about Macarena

Fr. Cristobal and meets Mum Madeiline

Fr. Cristobal enters the visiting room and saw an elderly woman who shows him half of the photograph and tells him she is his mother.

He asks if it is a joke but the woman says no claiming shes been wanting to see him again forever. She went on to say being in the prison may have wrecked his life, but it is what made her to find him and he is her only child.

Cristobal insist he is an orphan right from a tender age and stands up but madam Madeleine tells him that she lives in Paris, but was born in Mexico. That his photo in the papers and his name made her abandon all to come back to Mexico. Cristobal apologise for the trouble but says she is wasting her time as he has no mother and she should go back to where she came from. Madeleine intends to leave a box at the priest’s residence that has family papers and photos so Cristobal can go through and find out about his mother and his family. She pleaded with him to reconsider then she dropped her hotel address and informed him she is staying through the trial's period. When he was leaving, she takes his hand, kisses it and leans her cheek into it. Cristobal gives her a perfunctory blessing and leaves.


Diana and Inez are having lunch at the café and Inez asks her to be her maid of honor. Diana agrees and hopes Samuel will propose to her too. 

Joel walks in carrying Monica's child in his arms with Monica right behind. Diana sees them and mocked so Monica quickly took the baby from him while he confronts Diana about the boy and hopes her grandson recovers fast. Diana is shocked and Joel too that she didn't know. Diana thinks he is lying but when Joel insists she left hurriedly.

Carlota is happy the case of Chris and Natalie is coming up and German will be their lawyer. The prosecutor will be Lic. Cordero and since she knows him  she is going to tell him all the secrets about Cristobal.

 Nurses are trying to make Romina wear the sterile outfit to go be with her baby while Em watches through a door window. Romina is giving several reasons not to go but Emiliano does. The nurse encourages Emiliano to touch the baby and he did while Romina watches through an observation window beaming.

Liliana and Sandra discussed the graduation, Romina's baby Eric, Gabriel, German and their feelings towards their friends and lovers. Sandra says she just realized she loves Erik now she’s unhappy about the breakup.

Romina calls Paloma to come and see the baby. She wants her to see how happy the baby makes Emiliano.
Rufina listenes and when asked, advisesher to go. She gets dressed  and leaves.

Meanwhile in the hospital, Rafael and Luz visit and encourage Romina to touch her baby that it would do him good. Romina is not sure. Diana rushes in accusing all of not informing her but Rafael informed her he called all nght and Emiliano backs Rafael up. Rafael and luz leave and Samuel comes for visits too. 

At the intensive Unit, Paloma, gift in hand, is looking through the big observation window at the baby and waving to him when Emiliano arrives. Paloma agrees to wear the sterile suit to go rub the baby down and sing some lullaby for the baby. Later Paloma says she doesn’t want to make Romina mad by staying long and she only came because she invited her. Emiliano says he wishes it were her baby but he is going to dedicate his life to making his son happy.

Fr. Benito visits Cristobal in prison and he tells him about his mother’s visit. He advised him to listen to his mother since she came all this way to see him. He further advises Cristocal to see these trials as as a test of faith.


The sun rises over Real del Monte.

Angelica is telling Orlando about what Dario did to her. Orlando says he’s sorry he hasn’t been around especially with the birth of his grandson. Angelica informs him she’s going to go after Dario with everything she’s got. Orlando says he’s sorry, but he couldn’t find the manuscript she gave him. He wanted to read it. Why? she says sharply. It was a good story, she says, or Dario wouldn’t have stolen it. Don’t look for it, I found it thrown in among your other papers. Orlando says he really wanted to read it and Angelica says is that why you lied to me and said you had? Orlando says I was ashamed that I hadn’t yet. That he was awfully sorry and hopes to be honest with her henceforth. Angelica gets emotional saying she feels all alone but Orlando assures that she is not.

Don Eugenio calls Gabriel and he assures him he’s fine. He wants to come see him but using the excuse of the unfinished conversation with Carlota.

Paloma and Lilian are visiting and the conversation turns to Paloma and Gabriel, but Paloma denies any relationship. Lilian advises her to move on as Emiliano is making his own life with Romina and the baby. Paloma changes the subject by asking about Erik. When Lilian tells her there are still having misunderstanding because of German, Paloma suggests she talk with him and tell him how she feels.

 A nurse comes up and asks if they’re going to go by the neonatal unit as Romina is required to express her milk for the baby. Camila tries talking to Romina but she refuses saying she can do it at home not in the open. The nurse warns her that her milk will dry up. Romina walks off to the see the baby. She looks at the baby through the observation window and sees the resemblance with German and she doesn’t know what she’s going to do when he gets bigger. When Emiliano and Camila come up, she gushes about how the baby looks just like him. Emiliano does not see how and Camila looks very worried.


In the prison yard, Christobal remembers all that the mother said that she hadn’t had one day of peace all these years. Chicho spots him and runs over and reminded him of what his mother said that God’s ways are not men’s ways. Canibal the enemy approaches and tells him he can’t wait until the day when he quits pretending to be innocent and admits to be a killer, like the rest of them there. Chicho tells him to buzz off and they started struggling. The guards come and separated them and one informs Christobal he has a visitor. He suspected Carlota and does not want to go but the guard tells him he has to.
True to suspicion, It’s Carlota waiting for him. He rushes for the door but it was closed. He wants to know why she won’t leave him alone and accuses her of being responsible for all this. Carlota admits and tells him his love has made her do terrible things. She said she came to ask one more time that he be her man. Cristobal responded "You are the worst thing that has happened to me in my life. I’d rather spend the rest of my days in prison than in bed with you".
"Fine" says Carlota, "If you want to stay in prison, help yourself. We would have been great together".
The guard lets Christobal out and she says "You lost your opportunity".

Romina delivers premature baby

The doctor tells Emiliano,Camila,Orlando, Dr.Bermudez and Gabriel hovering around that there is a possibility that the baby could die. Rafael just comes in when the doctor walks away and Emiliano had to tells him the situation.

Romina in pains is crying and scared and seeking comfort from Paloma who is equally worried. Camilla is distraught but convinced that from the calculation, the baby should be eight months except there is a mistake. Dr. Bermudez confirmed that there is no mistake, the baby is around seven months. She then says if what he is saying to her is true, then Emiliano is not the father of the child. Dr. Bermudez is surprised by this revelation and ask if there's somebody else who could be the father and Camilla says German but wouldn't want anyone else to know. The Doctor remembers when German came to ask how he know if a baby was his or not.

Paloma leaves when the Doctor comes in with Emiliano to meet the anxious crowd outside and tells them the Doctor is with Romina.

Orlando congratulates Rafael on his new partner and to inform him of his coming marriage. Rafael got angry and both argued. Camilla is so worried to pay attention.

Romina is asked to push but she couldnt. The doctor and nurse leave and Romina slumps back on the bed in pain and frustration while Emiliano keep telling her to keep calm. After a while, Emiliano comes out to tell them that Romina is having complications giving birth naturally.
The doctor with Dr.Bermudez come to inform them about the situation and ask Emiliano to make a decision.
Dr. Bermudez says if he doesn't make a decision, he may loose Romina and the baby. Emiliano was shocked and wondered why he is asked to make that kind of tough decision. Why cant they save both. Camila pleaded that her daughter must be saved. Emiliano ask 'what about my baby'. Camila responded that he can separate from Romina and have another child. Everyone urges him to save Romina including Paloma who nods her head in agreement with them. Emiliano cleans his eyes and tells the doctor to go ahead and save Romina but if possible to save his baby too.

Liliana is helping Eric straighten his ruffled clothes from the fight with German but Eric angrily confronts her about German. Liliana tries to reassure him but he leaves and she started crying.

Meanwhile Luz tosses and turns in bed.She can't sleep and keeps thinking and tossing back in forth in bed.

Emiliano is at the hospital crying and banging his head against the wall, Rafael comes to console and Emiliano tells him his suspicion about the premature baby. He believes the baby is not his and Rafael concurs.

Eventually, the doctor comes out to tell them Romina is okay and the baby is delivered but very small and he doesn't know if it will survive. He said the baby may need a specialist. Afterward Camila goes to see Romina  and tells her the only one who is important is her. Romina then makes a comment how the baby will look like her and Camila looks at her suspiciously and she looks away guiltily.

After the birth of the baby, Paloma is walking along with Gabriel telling him how happy she is that both Romina and the baby are alive.
Gabriel tells her this is the first time he sees her happy, excited and free. He thanks her for letting him be with her for a very important moment in her life. He leans over and kisses her on the cheek. Paloma is surprised and shaken by this action and Gabriel takes off his jacket and puts it around her shoulders. They both look into each others eyes and realised they are in love.

Luz wakes feeling gloomy but the phone rings and its Rafael, he tells her about the birth of his grandson. Luz says she wishes she was with him, so he ask her to come that he will wait for you.

At home Paloma tells Rufina about the baby and how very delicate his situation is. She tells her the baby may not survive according to the Doctor's prediction..

After the baby has been transferred to the Incubator, family is allowed to go see him. Rafael and Orlando flank Emiliano sides and they all looking at the new born baby, talking about how precious and beautiful he looks.

The baby in the incubator being attended to by the Nurse while the proud father and the two grandfathers look on. I wonder where Diana is, one of the grandmothers.

Carlota is asking Paloma who told her she could go to the hospital instead of coming home. First it was Emiliano now your instructor this is not good Paloma.

Paloma tells her there were adults there from Camila, Orlando and Rafael so she was not alone and she was there  for Romina and her baby. Carlota doesn't want to hear this. She thinks it best that she has nothing to do with the baby except Paloma is using it to get to Emiliano. But Paloma tells her no hidden agenda or hateful intention unlike her. What does being her niece and having her blood mean to her and all the times she have been hateful towards her and her mother Macarena.Carlota cannot look her straight in the eye after this comment. Later Paloma leaves telling her truth hurts.

Diana is walking along the street when Luz comes out of a door closing it. Diana is surprised that she is coming out of Rafael's apartment and Luz tells her she lives there.Diana can't believe this and calls her names.

Luz laughs at her and tells her how happy she is and she has to go meet up Rafael and see his new grandson. Diana was shocked at the news but Luz walks away. 

 Samuel is in his room checking his messages when he hears the one from Camila about Romina having a baby. Samuel wonders why it was so soon and worries about the money he got from Romina.

German comes in to congratulate Emiliano and was told the baby is premature. German thinks about it but convinced him the test shoewd the baby is Emiliano not his. 
 Paloma confesses to Rufina that she is interested in Gabriel but wouldnt say love while Gabriel is feeling the same way and this shows in his attitude. He was painting and happily humming along to his theme song. Fr. Mateo comes in to ask about the restoration of the virgin painting and he says he would complete the project even though Cristobal was not there.

Meanwhile in Jail, Cristobal with his cellmate Chucho walking along when a guard comes to tell him he has a visitor. .
 Cristobal immediately asked if it is Carlota but the Guard say he wouldn't know so he leaves with the guard.

Romina with Emiliano so Camila and Orlando leave. Romina wants the baby to be named Samuel after her father but Emiliano says NO.

She goes on about her family, her son and Emiliano but he is not happy.

German is still sitting in the cafeteria thinking about the baby and what Emiliano said, when Dr.Bermudez sees him  and requests to talk to him the next day privately..

the Graduatiom Dance

Paloma arriving on the arms of Gabriel looking beautiful, elegant and posh in her ballroom dress bought by Rufina after Carlota ruined the first one. She is the one everyone complimented.

At the graduation, Paloma and Romina hug and cry and everyone looks moved except Carlota who knows that Romina is pretending to be touched.

Cristobal tells cellmate that his father gave him the photograph before he died and that is father told him he’d never get the other half, so it’s strange that it appeared while he  was asleep in the hospital. He needs to find out who left it and why.

Madame Madeleine, the old lady that just arrived is ready and in a couple of days the meeting will be able to take place. She thinks, “Finally, Cristobal, finally.”

After all the speeches, Liliana rushes to the Microphone and calls everyone out to dance. German tells Carlota he would have liked to come to the dance with Paloma and that he’s interested in being near her and Carlota.  Paloma jumps to the dance floor and Gabriel follows. Romina complains to Emiliano about dancing with her, so he reluctantly gets up. Camila sees them and says the that marriage was a mistake. Luz says they don’t look like they’re in love and Rafael confirms it saying “love isn’t easy to find.”

Diana with Samuel but wants to be discreet to avoid gossip.

The dance Proper starts and Paloma is enjoying every second of it. Everyone starts doing some kind of line dance where people have to switch partners.

Of course Emiliano and Paloma end up dancing together while Romina ends up dancing with Liliana's boyfriend. Shes not happy and was glaring at them from across the room.

Suddenly Romina starts to double over in pain and had to leave the dance floor.

Liliana dances with Gabriel and tells him she likes him and Paloma as a couple but when she switches and dancing with Emiliano she notes that he still loves Paloma and he confirms it and says he’ll never stop loving her.

Romina stumbles into the bathroom and seeing Carlota complains to her that she had the pain from watching Emiliano and Paloma together. Carlota advises her to get a hold on her husband and not allow him and Paloma to be alone together for even one minute and she will take care of Paloma. Camila turns to Rufina about the feud between Romina and Paloma. Luz asks what separated them, to which Orlando answers “they both fell in love with the same man.”

Natalia agonizes over Alonso. She remembers several instances of him working on his computer and one night when he was worried and couldn’t sleep. She thinks there must have been something going on, he was very different in his last days. She takes out a picture of her and Sagrario, saying “help me, because it’s not fair to you, to me, to our daughter.” Then a scene where Alonso hid a piece of paper inside the very frame that Natalia is holding.

Carlota tries to make Rufina leave when she came out of the ladies room but she refuses insisting on staying with Paloma awhile longer. Rafael offers to take Carlota home and Rufina says Dr. Bermuda will bring her and Paloma home.

Paloma and Gabriel run into Romina, who’s looking rather green. She starts having pains again so Gabriel runs off to call Emiliano who with Camila come running. Romina is surprised but Dr. Bermudez says it’s time to go to the hospital. Romina is driven to the hospital by Gabriel accompanied by Emiliano and Paloma while the Doctor goes to drop Rufina at home before meeting them at the hospital. In the car Romina thanks Paloma for being there for her always especially on this important day.
Camila wonders why the baby is coming earlier than the expected date. To her calculation, the baby will be premature and she confides in Orlando but doesn’t think it will be a problem.

Carlota is taken home by Rafael and Luz and shes not impressed with Luz's attitude to life. They discussed about living life freely and is worried and doesn’t want her putting ideas in Paloma’s head. When they dropped her, it was Luz turn to wonder which last century she is from.  

The night is full of scary noises at the jail and Cristobal wonders where the noise is from. The cellmate, Chucho tells him its a Cannibal group who goes about to beat people up

Dr. Bermudez takes Rufina home and gives her the two rings to put back where she found them. Rufi decides to give Paloma the real one and Carlota the fake one. She tells the Doctor about her suspicions of Carlota diluting Macarena’s medication which was why  the medication was not working. She also thinks Carlota ruined Paloma’s dress on purpose. The Doctor says they can’t prove anything so its better they all leave her and move to Mexico City. Carlota just walked up to them and heard this and demands to know what he meant. Dr. Bermudez appears caught but informs Carlota that Macarena didn’t want Paloma to live with her. He says if Macarena didn’t trust her, he wouldn't and he intends to keep the promise he made to Macarena.  When Carlota asks where Paloma is, she was informed of Romina having a baby and Paloma going with her. She did not think Paloma should be with Romina since they have stopped being friends.

At the hospital, Romina asks Paloma to stay with her while Camila calls her dad. Camila calls Rafael and he was surprised too that the baby is coming earlier than the due date. Luz offers to go with him to the hospital but he tells her to stay home and rest.

German and Liliana get into an argument about who’s the father of Romina’s baby is. Liliana believes its German's despite the DNA results. German grabs her and wants to kiss her because he thinks she is still in love with him. But Eric, Liliana's boyfriend pulled him away and punched him.

While Carlota goes upstairs, Rufina sneaks into the study to put the fake ring back in the desk. But Carlota comes in and Rufina lied that she came to close the window. Well Carlota quickly confirms that the ring is safe. When Carlota leaves, Rufina quickly went to retrieve the real ring she hid under the desk.

Rafael calls Diana but she doesn’t answer. She says she wants him to suffer not knowing her grandson is being delivered. She is with her new boyfriend, Samuel.

The doctor does an ultrasound on Romina and notes that the baby is very small. Romina claims she’s 8 months pregnant to deceive and the doctor thinks maybe the baby hasn’t developed normally. He informs them that the baby is fine but very small, like it’s 7 months or less.
